The only ones I found are if you want to make an argument that Harry Giles and Caleb Swanigan were wings, and then Rayan Rupert.
Exactly my point. Suddenly a guy like Salaun isn't a wing.

Pokusevski has that wingspan. Ousmene Dieng might have that wingspan. Suddenly they're not wings?

Beringer looks like he’s 2 years away from being 2 years away.

    Insta bust.

Bruno Caboclo had a 7′ 7″ wingspan. Bust.

Dieng only has a 7'0" official wingspan - but more to the point, it looks like that list doesn't include guys who went through the international combine measurements

he is. He hasn't even played basketball for 4 years. He's a great gamble for a second round pick. I'd stay away from him in the first though.

Suppose I gave you these three names--Bryant, Essengue, Coward--and told you two of them would bust and one would hit. Who would you think would be the hit?

That’s a tough one, I feel like Coward is a pretty safe bet to turn out. I like Essengue and Carter more tho lol

This is why I can’t take raw bigs like Malauch seriously (sorry RC_Drunkford). Any other raw big could suddenly be the “player of the week” when someone finds new footage or information. It’s betting on too much theoretical upside.

Coward is an elite shooter. You can hang around in the league with that skillset alone. Bryant screams athleticism with no game. Essengue is average at everything, not good at anything, not bad at anything. If he doesn’t develop I don’t see a role for him. I’ll take Coward

I’m starting to feel the same way as Sam. Maluach may be getting over hyped. His hands and feet are mid. Beringer also makes me nervous but he snags everything. He was playing soccer as a goalie 48 months ago. Had never picked up a basketball lmao. Both could bust hard. At least you are working from scratch with Beringer. Maluach has already picked up some bad habits especially with his positioning when he rebounds

I normally like Vecenie but he's missed the boat on this one. Beringer is completely theoretical. You'd have to dearly and sweetly hope and pray he ever becomes anything close to good. At happy risk of starting up old fights, the Adriatic League is like kiddie soccer compared to high end NCAA basketball and there's no contest.

One draft lottery prospect reportedly refused to work out with the Hornets because he didn’t want to play with LaMelo Ball, per Mikelacett

Smart guy. That's the sort of player I'd want on my team, and I don't even know nothing about him.

I badly want Ace Bailey on Charlotte. I'd watch every game I could. Two psychos.

My guess is Kon Knueppel. There's no way a serious basketball player could play alongside LaMelo.

Remember how Castle was almost clearly saying he didn't want to go to Charlotte last year, lol.

beringer acquitted himself decently well against better EuroCup teams this year.

took considerable strides as a rebounder and shot-blocker down the stretch. not a shooter but the impressive combine measurements could easily be enough for PATFO to swing on beringer at #14 as a backup big project. won't stretch the floor but his upside could be a lively type of rim-runner.

as for the the ABA league, it lacks any real depth but i'd bet heavy money on its three European teams and big-spending dubai basketball (currently rostering davis bertans) against any college opposition right now.

There's no way I take an Adriatic League team against the top line NCAA teams. The coaching, the prep, any of it, just not close at all.

tried to substantively engage with you on basketball talk for once and in response i'm met with bull pla udes like 'prep' to explain why teenagers fresh out of high school are beating euroleague teams with some of the best players on the continent and NBA alumni in the prime years of their careers.

Has there ever been a top prospect that worked out for 0 teams?! That was healthy and not overseas playing in another league?

You don't understand what 'prep' means? I gave you real reasons why high level NCAA is better. Why are you whining? Because I disagree that a mid-level pro league isn't actually that good? Have you ever seen the facilities alone that a school like Duke has?

Or do you just want me to say, yeah, sure, this guy Joan Beringer is actually good because he plays with over the hill NBA castoffs? Certainly not the best players on the continent in any way. Their coaching is probably at the level of low mid-majors.

There's really no argument here, but you can think you've made points or something here.
