    Spurs work out Fears?
in what scenario could he become an option? I have a had time to imagine this. If he fell to 14? (0.1% chance this happens). and they would‘t trade up to get him, if they already got Harper. they trade #2 and end up with a pick in the 5-8 range? but if so, why don‘t they work out other player in that range, like Tre, Kon, Jakucionis?
But I think if he gets past Brooklyn at 8 he could definitely fall for a while. The segments after 9 to at least 16 all have PGs or invested draft equity in PGs in recent years (Scoot, Reed).

IIRC, he was one of the early guys the Spurs worked out at the combine, before or right around the lotto draw. He was probably someone the Spurs had on their radar before they were locked in on Harper.

I also think Fears makes little sense. If they had ever drafted him, they'd be guaranteed to have an undersized guard on the court at all times, with Fox. That's not great.

Having watched all the tape and running the analytics if I wanted to draft the best starting 5 Defensively in this draft it would be:

    Guard: VJ Edgecombe
    Guard: Nique Clifford
    Forward: Collin Murray-Boyles
    Forward: Cooper Flagg
    Center: Thomas Sorber

If I wanted to draft the worst defense possible:

    Guard: Mark Sears
    Guard: Jeremiah Fears
    Forward: Koby Brea
    Forward: Bogoljub Markovic
    Center: Danny Wolf

I think Queen gives Wolf a run for his money on that one...

Some might say that but I chose Wolf because Queen is a better rebounder defensively

Even that seems high for a guy with no handle who plays no defense, is shorter than hyped, and has to be the dumbest draftee since Scotty Hopson.

Wow, that's crazy. Didn't realize Brian Wright is signed by them, also forgot Mitch is too. Interesting list of draftees there too.

Naw, I'm thinking in this scenario they are wanting to assess his true value. That way they can use him as trade bait if for some reason he happened to fall to #14.

Help us build a good team or help their clients get paid? I guess the Mitch signing without compe ion makes sense now. They waited until Pop was incapacitated and took advantage of it.

What? Took advantage of what? Are you saying Mitch got the job due to being with Klutch? Care to elaborate what you mean? I don't think they forced the Spurs to give him the job.

Maybe, considering the General Manager of the Spurs Mr. Wright is also a Klutch client.

I’d almost guarantee one of those Klutch prospects are drafted by us lol been a big fan of Fleming! And I’m curious as to why Will Riley got a green room invite, someone had to make a promise to him
