Yabusele and Lopez would be very nice.
Yes, very nice. Would like a shooter though. I just wish there were more options than Cam Johnson.
Do we believe there is still a Horford to SA chance? Him plus Lopez would be enticing.
As a german, I would love Moritz Wagner to come to SA.
The german media is a sucker for these guys (IHart as well)...and I actually believe he is a nice player (even though not as defensive minded, as I'd like our big acquisitions to be).
He tore his ACL in late December. Spurs need a reliable backup right away, we can't wait for him to recover.
Celtics went under second apron, they can go under first if they trade Hauser, I expect Horford to stay there for another season and retire. No reason for him to move at this stage.
This is why I don't think Vassell will be moved, unless its for like a S&T for Reid or something like that. Which I don't think the Twolves would bother with anyway due to roster imbalance. Maybe Mikal Bridges because of salary is ending and Knicks might want to secure a player to a longer contract. Perhaps there is something there, but they gave up 5 picks for him, so doubt it. Maybe an Andrew Wiggins, type deal. Maybe Klay and PJ in a deal for Vassell? It's more likely Vassell will be used for a much bigger contract. But realistically, I can't see a Vassell deal out there.
Horford said at the end of last season he'd love to come back to Boston if he didn't retire so if the Spurs want him they will have to offer more than Boston to get him.
How many at or above league average three point shooters are out there? Not many. Spurs can't trade Vassell unless they get replacement shooters. My guess is right now they need him in most of their lineups because he can catch and shoot meaning they can pair him with the ball dominant guards we now have on our roster. And yes, he does over dribble and has had the ball in his hands over the last few seasons, but that will change now and I suspect you will see him more as a catch and shoot guy, which is probably a better role for him anyway.
Is next season's free agent class a lot better than this one?
Yes, but the downside is that there's a lot more money available chasing that talent.

Not really if Spurs are concerned.
Not many wings that would suit us.
I firmly believe the only players the Spurs are willing to trade are Branham and Wesley. Everybody else is basically untouchable.
That's a far cry from what I thought the Spurs were willing to do just a week ago.
The only thing that hasn't changed is that he didn't know a week ago and that he doesn't know right now.
He just embarrassed himself with all the inside info talk and is in full emo mode with these nonsense posts.
Damn from getting Kevin Durant to we won't trade anybody but the two guys who's contracts expire at the end of the season we are not offering new ones to![]()
Re stop dodging my post and reply since I put some effort in to debunk most of your garbage takes.

Or better don't, since you got nothing useful to say.
If I had to guess, anywhere from 35-65% of the players in the NBA are at or above league average three point shooters.
I mean available to pick up. It's one thing if you trade Vassell and get KD, but since that isn't happening, you can't trade Vassell and not get a shooter back that is at or above league average. I think he's a starter next year over either Harper or Castle because of his ability to be a spot up shooter.
I thought it’s 50%, by definition. No?
Nope. 50% are at or above the median, but averages can be skewed.
For example. If there are four players. The first three are .000 shooters on 1 attempt/game, but he 4th shooter is a 1.000 shooter on 7 attempts/game... the "league average" would be .700... but 75% of the "league" would be below average.
Gotcha. Yeah I agree... if you trade Vassell the Spurs had damn well have a plan to replace the shooting. Same with Barnes, tbh. Can't go trading them for clankers.
J Collins gone
I can't say that I'm sad.
A lot of people here will be.
can still be easily acquired via trade
