yeah that's usually what they do and also the reason they trade out. They are not willing to sign second rounders to NBA deals, but want guys who sign 2-way contracts.

Magic paid 4 SRP’s but it was 4 ty ones. 46 and 57 this draft and 2026 and 2027 picks which will probably be in the high 40’s.

Edit: the 2026 and 2027 picks are actually reasonably valuable with multiple swaps attached with mediocre teams.

What hurts us this is exactly what it seems like we should be doing with our excess SRPs, but then again we don’t know how good/bad some of those are going to be in future years either.
