These trade announcements from 10+ picks ago are ridiculous, so are the wrong caps, on top of the bunch of idiots spewing nonsense and pushing the corny narrative.
Spurs should trade for the 57th pick and take someone from Argentina just to F with the league
And with the 57th pick in the 2025 NBA draft, the San Antonio Spurs select... Ariel from SpursTalk![]()
If there's no player value in 2nd rounders, then there's no reason not to burn one on a novelty local player or a player who is friend or a star player.
That being said, the WORLD CHAMPION Thunder still taking guys in the second
Spurs need to trade back in and take Rocco. Probably not a real nba player but could be entertaining in Austin
Must be a lefty.
I'm guessing Raynaud was of no interest to the Spurs, despite his friendship with Wemby. Who then? Wonder when the C/PF will be revealed? Yabusele is not a shot blocker.
Draft some Palestinian kid to troll Silver. Have him come out in a free Palestine shirt.
yes, mcconnell and nembhard are both second rounders/undrafted players who were in their rotation. thomas bryant played spot minutes as well, about 10mpg in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs.
If nothing else, this will make watching Raynaud's career over the next two or three years much more interesting.
Markovic is a great draft and stash guy.
Like this guy.
Has some upside.
Probably won't work out but if he does . . .
What wut? It's pretty simple: even if the Spurs are currently out of the 2nd round, picks are for sale for peanuts and Spurs have more than they can count which they could have used but chose not to. That was evident as early as the 36th pick which the Lakers bought for 45 + cash considerations. So any player drafted from then on Spurs could have had for a single future first.
If he doesn't get drafted, I wouldn't mind Dink Pate on a udfa deal. Good chance he bust, but there's some upside there if he can ever put it together. Austin would do him some good.
Correct.
Free agency is the way to go. I think the front office preferred a C with veteran presence.
I’d take Brice Williams on a two-way.
No, it's another Blake Wesley in the making, he'll show just enough for you to keep him on your roster and 4 years later he's still not good enough to play. Spurs need players who, even if there is room for improvement, are already good enough that they can at the very least have a positive impact on a small role right away, and they can grow fro there. Bottom up, not top down.
If Eric Dixon promises to take Ozempic, he’d be fine for a two-way.
You're not paying him Wesley money on a two-way. He's got athleticism and some talent. I'm not talking about a roster spot, just a two-way.
Why did they throw on the draft hats in the dryer just before giving them to the players? They’re all misshaped and wrinkled.
I forgot about Vlad Goldin. Maybe he can be our two-way big?
would be nice
Dixon to LAL
