Does "big deals" also include trades? Giannis trade maybe? I wonder what big deals Sham's is referring to.

What day/time is free agency? I thought I read 6pm a week or two. It was always 12:00 July first, wasn't it? So is it now 6pm June 30th?
Giannis ain't going anywhere. He'll waste another year of his prime in Milwaukee this season sadly. I do think he'll request a trade next offseason though, after they inevitably get bounced in the 1st Round again.

Meh, I respect it tbh. He already has a ring.

I think PATFO are playing the long game and saving their assets for the probability of Giannis asking out next season tbh.

It's impossible to please your average NBA fan.
NBA fandom has become all about ting on everything.

If Giannis left for a legit contender, people would be saying he took the easy path.
He stayed which equals to lack of ambition by those standards.

I'll make a hot take and say Bucks will get a couple of solid role players, Giannis will drag them to 50+ wins and win another MVP.

    Lebron/Bronny for Devin/Keldon/Barnes, tbh.
OK, that would be interesting counter to the KD to Houston move. I'd maybe be on board with that (mostly because it would get rid of two specific players).

I think PATFO are playing the long game and saving their assets for the probability of Giannis asking out next season tbh.
I don't get that, though. Wasn't there talk of not wanting to go for Giannis due to his age now and the assets required to get him? Wouldn't another make that even less of a chance with him being even older. Who would the Spurs even give up for him? The trade this season would have likely been centered around the number 2 pick. I doubt they'd want to trade Dylan (now that he's drafted) for an even older Giannis next season.

^Flipping the turd trio of DV/KJ/HB for any serviceable NBA-level talent would be a win, tbh.

I know this is a joke but I'm not laughing. More like knocking on wood and throwing salt over my left shoulder.

I wonder if DFS heard that Lebron is leaving and if that is a reason that he's decided not to go back to the Lakers himself.

I don't think it's fair to put Barnes in turd category with those two. Sochan definitely gets in there, though.

It's pretty obious Lakers can't be a legit contender with Luka and Lebron taking up 65% of the cap space.
Rockets have a way better chance of winning, it's an easy decision, tbh.

Nobody want's to play Luka ball if they don't have to

Jordan Clarkson is finalizing a contract buyout with the Utah Jazz, sources tell ESPN. Clarkson will target contending teams for his new home -- with interest from multiple playoff teams already expected.

Wow. Utah telling their fans they're going to compete and they're buying out players or trading them for little return. Couldn't they trade Clarkson for some sort of return?

I hope Giannis retires a Buck. Top 3 player playing his entire career with a small market team (and winning a chip and MVPs) is good for the league (especially from a Spurs fan POV)

"its impossible to deal with ainge, he always overvalues his players!"

meaning Utah attached a second round pick to Sexton to acquire Nurkic, taking on a worse player on a slightly higher salary while giving up a pick to do so. now they just waive clarkson

I wonder if they're making moves for a Markkanen trade.

I saw a story earlier that Jazz fans are calling for Ainge to be fired. Mostly it was reposting tweets from disgruntled Jazz fans in response the to the Sexton trade.

I would be too if I was a Utah fan. I wonder what they're saying with the buyout of Clarkson now.

The Golden State Warriors have Al Horford as a top target at the start of free agency.

I think they gotta let him play his value up again to start the year. But I'd be very surprised if Markkanen isn't traded within the next year tbh.
