Love Chris Paul for what he did here, but he’s clearly in his Kobe farewell moment where he can’t accept his reality. Go ring chase somewhere off the bench, but no he’s NEEDS to start. Glad he’s not our problem anymore and is still the same diva he’s always been.

CP3 got 82 starts last season. Pretty big accomplishment. Pelicans need a point. Kings and Suns.

There have been on going talks of what would be a historic 7-team trade involving the Rockets acquiring Kevin Durant, via FredKatz
    and KellyIko
    .

    Phoenix Suns
    Houston Rockets
    Atlanta Hawks
    Brooklyn Nets
    Golden State Warriors
    Los Angeles Lakers
    Minnesota Timberwolves

    Fred Katz FredKatz
The Rockets and Suns are working on expanding the Kevin Durant trade into a deal that would involve a league-record seven teams.

No trade is imminent, but here’s what we know about negotiations so far: https://nytimes.com/athletic/live-bl.../fnwUj FEqi/

I guess that means LeBron really wants to join the Warriors. Would be hilarious. A bunch of guys in their late 30s/early 40s thinking they can contend, only to get run off the floor by all the young teams. I would love to see that.

What a waste of talent for him not being able to put it all together on the court

he should contact the mental coach of chess grandmaster gukesh of India

Luka and Ayton might be the most cry baby team in nba history

Ayton having to be bought out at 26 on a max contract is insane

Has anybody that young ever been bought out?

Is it out of the realm of possibility that he could start for either Phoenix or even Milwaukee?
CP3 wants to be a starter, but also wants to be close to his family (which he said several times with the Spurs last season). So he's already pushed back against the Milwaukee thing for the family reason.

I get him wanting both things, but sometimes you don't get what you want...unless the Clippers or Lakers feel like he fits as a starting PG (and the Clippers seem like a longshot since he's already clashed with Harden in the past).

I saw this headline, and I thought I'd missed out on the Spurs signing Boucher, but it's just a piece about the possibility: https://airalamo.com/raptors-just-gi...ayoffs-boucher

Current Ben Simmons is who he is.

A player who relied on his athleticism, who now has a bad back, has less than half of said athleticism, and still cannot shoot.

I don't want Vic or the rest of the team to get bad habits, so no.

We don't have any minutes left. Even if we get rid of Keldon, we still don't have enough minutes for everyone.

nobody has rotation minutes for 15 players, yet roster sizes are 15. gotta fill them somehow. injuries happen. one offseason from now, we will have branham/wesley/barnes hit free agency. we dont have anything interesting in the 2-way pipeline right now. we're not going to have 2 first rounders anymore. coffey is one of the few FAs left who proved they can play. get him on a cheap 2 year deal and its low risk

he cant really defend at all though, kind of just a more realized branham

I do think we need a 3ed C on the bench, and Landale would be quite acceptable...

He should just go back to Suns and retire. I loved him as a Spur but he is not going to start.

Jonas Valanciunas has a $10.4M guaranteed contract with the Sacramento Kings, with a reported trade to the Denver Nuggets in the works, for this season. He then has a $10M non-guaranteed contract for the 2026-27 season.

This will need to involve some form of buyout for JV.

Jonas Valanciunas is nearing a stunning EuroLeague move and exiting the NBA.

Per BasketNews sources, Valanciunas was lured by Panathinaikos' multi-year offer
