We were more or less courtside behind all the spurs guys. Sochan, Vassell, kj, fox, barnes. Apparently wemby showed up right after we left smhSounds about like when I try to get my kids to watch the Spurs (or any sporting event) with me
What happens when u let ur kids parent...should've got him some merch or light up toys n junk food to keep em quiet
Salaun looked like a piece of in every single game he's ever played in his life. Beringer is miles ahead as a prospect.

Look, it was only one game but came away incredibly impressed with Beringer.
For a prospect who apparently has only played 3-4 years of basketball, what he was doing was incredible.
Played within himself, held his own physically against a legit NBA body in Missi (who went at him several times inside) and was the best player on the floor.
Can’t wait to see his next game and follow his development. Sounds like a great kid and he is in the perfect position to succeed post-Gobert with a game that should grow proportionately.

This has been said a hundred times. He probably had a deal with the Kings. This often happens for players projected late in the first round and early in the second round. It doesn't matter if you are taken 23 picks or 12th picks in the second round, the most important thing is that the agent comes to an agreement with the franchise.
Quite likely here that what Raynaud was looking for was not to be taken high by an already compe ive team or in a team with already plenty of prospects. But the assurance of having a guaranteed contract, a place in the rotation, and above all staying in California. I'll bet his girlfriend is still studying at Stanford. It's not the kind of university that you decide to quit in the middle of. Brilliant women also have the right to finish their studies. It's very Spurs spirit, but applied... to California.
The last time the Spurs probably threw up a “Ray-no” prayer had to be in the 2013 Finals.
Beringer is very impressive... Hard to move in the post, and a gazelle on the counterattack... Even more impressive, he seems to have excellent hands...

Having watched a lot of summer league so far the rookies I’m most impressed with are VJ Edgecombe, Derik Queen and Nique Clifford.
I think Cooper Flagg and Ace Bailey will be fine but they both take some bad shots at times.
Robertas Jakucionis has been a turnover machine and might be more of a project than what I thought.
Joan Beringer looks like he might actually be alright.

ah so that was KJ sitting in the middle. with the hat on it was tough to tell, as they were mostly just looking forward. identifying sochan and vassell was easy due to their hair. and barnes/fox were turned around speaking with someone behind them for a while so they were easy to make out as well. we had to leave before champagnie and wemby showed up

place really emptied out after the lakers game tbh... was very easy to find great seats at the start of the spurs game. you can see sochan/vassell and the crew as the camera pans toward the right

summer league setup is really cool and fan-friendly tbh, especially with tickets being good all day. if you want to stick around for a decent amount of time i'd recommend leaving your 3-4 year old at home though
i'd recommend anybody go tbh. if i wasnt going to be out of town this weekend i'd definitely have picked up tix for saturday
also Flagg looked much better than the box score, at least from the parts of the game i saw. definitely had some jitters offensively, but i think he's going to hit the ground running. the amount of space he covered defensively was pretty noticeable

Keldon sitting in the center as if he's holding the entire locker room together. I don't think you can really outsource that kind of effect. To top it off, he doesn't have the toolish rep of Draymond or Brooks or others who usually play that kind of role. Maybe he can be a Bizarro Patty Mills where he goes from prominent player to towell-waver while providing great chemistry.Entire squad in the house
