Out of all the playoff discussions below the biggest step forward for me is the SEC (and the Texas Longhorns) moving to a 9 game in conference play format and getting rid of at least one of the lopsided scrimmage games. ATM is probably against this as they have relied on 3 and many times 4 scrimmage games to reach that magical 8-5 season (when they also lose in a farm implement bowl)

"....The 73-year-old has been an analyst for ESPN's College GameDay since his retirement, but former Alabama quarterback and current college football analyst Greg McElroy said on Monday morning that “A very much in the know person that I have a lot of respect for and have spent a lot of time around, and just really, really admire, they seem to think Nick Saban is not done coaching.”...."

Yeah I think everyone thinks he's coming back. Just waiting for the right opportunity.
Didn't even bother posting it was so dumb.
McElroy saying he has the itch to coach, but doesn't think he'll come back.
Hard-hitting stuff.
Just combine and be the bigsec already
Lol I wonder if he'd be making that same pitch if he were the HC at Georgia or UT
Jeff Traylor gonna release a statement that we need to go to 60.
I mean, D2 already does 28 teams....
Just don’t have a regular season or conferences.
Just go to a 256 team playoff.
Then as CFB “grows”, laugh silently, make it a 512 team tournament. No one gets left out.
It’s no problem making a giant tournament. It’s not difficult. Don’t even seed the teams. The best team will win anyway, and that’s all we are after right? It does not matter HOW you crown the best team, just complete the task.
