The civil war was not about slavery, stop it. American blacks died in that war too BTW. After slavery black Americans were still hung, murdered, had their towns bombed by white supremacist all the way up to the 1970s. I understand its ugly but you cant sugarcoat it.
Woke is a term created by black Americans in the civil rights era to bring awareness to racial injustice. It wasn't until recently that white supremacists weaponized and twisted the meaning.
