I knew his condition would be as so when it was announced he had a medical issue happen. I've too many at his advanced age go through the same and none of them were ok to work again or live life like they did previously. I witnesses my grandfather, who was a master mechanic and a very skilled fabricator, ask my step father, after the stroke at 78, "why don't I understand what I am looking at" and he was looking at a vw/corvair engine he'd worked on plenty of them for the past 50 yrs. He lost it instantly, he also believed he was back in his late 40's. Luckily for Pops, he didn't pass away 6 months later like my grandfather did.
I didn't want pop around the team anymore, after his stroke, because I felt like he needed to rest but I've changed my mind since. I think the support is what keeps him going and I'm all here for it!
