That's what Democrats do. I'm cool with the law being enforced equally.

this isn't Yoni's life. I probably spend too much time on here as it is...so, what did I ghost you on?

And, if it's something Chump said, I don't read his drivel anymore.

when did Democrats unleash US troops on Republican run cities?
The reason you can’t find an example of Democrats “unleashing troops on Republican-run cities” is simple: Republican-run cities don’t generally require federal troops to enforce federal law or maintain basic order. Historically, when Democratic administrations sent in regular military forces — Kennedy at Ole Miss, Johnson in Detroit — they were responding to situations where local Democratic leadership either couldn’t or wouldn’t enforce federal law or maintain control.

As for Los Angeles, the 700 Marines you’re referring to weren’t doing “neighborhood sweeps.” That’s the internet caricature. They were deployed to protect federal agents and federal property after local and state officials openly refused to cooperate with, and in some cases actively obstructed, federal law enforcement operations. The Posse Comitatus dispute is about whether that protective role was appropriate — not about Marines patrolling the streets like some cartoon of martial law.

Republican cities haven’t required military intervention, and the one modern case involving Marines in L.A. had nothing to do with occupying neighborhoods — it was about securing federal personnel when the city government refused to do its job.

    Color yourself "unghosted."

Democratic cities don't require federal law enforcement either, it's all pretextual bull

PDs are doing their jobs, the courts are open and normally functioning, etc

The violent crime rate in Lubbock is higher than that of New York City.

According to you, Lubbock needs to be occupied by federal troops.

Well, they're not arresting illegal aliens and when federal officers try, they are obstructed by local officials so, no, PDs aren't doing their jobs.

It's not the PDs job to arrest illegals. "Obstructed by local officials" is a podcast strawman.

You're correct. But, when those that are doing federal enforcement come under attack -- on their city streets -- it kind of is in their purview.

Chicago police told to hold back after Border Patrol shooting in Brighton Park, body-camera footage shows

You’re flattening a complex issue into a bumper sticker. Posse Comitatus blocks federal troops from acting as cops — it does not prohibit them from protecting federal personnel, facilities, or operations when locals refuse to. That narrow distinction is literally what the courts are reviewing. So quit pretending this is settled law; it’s not. The assertion isn’t ‘Marines doing neighborhood sweeps,’ it’s safeguarding federal assets. If you’re going to argue the point, at least argue the point that’s actually on the table.

Judge Immergut called bull on Trump's evidence for public disorder, federal troops have been barred from deployment in Oregon

In Chicago, the immigration sweeps are the emergency tending to cause public disorder; Judge Perry has barred deployment of federalized troops in Illinois for the time being
