Kori and LJ are still penning game previews/grade articles on the homepage... make sure to check them out.

@Strategic - that was my bad the other day starting the game thread after you already had one... I didn't see yours

The Spurs' last three lottery picks are all out again, but Harper is possibly back on Sunday ironically at Phoenix where he got injured.

Castle is out for another 10 days, and Wembanyama another two weeks.

Consecutive Days missed due to injury since 30 Sept training camp start:

    • Fox - 39
    • Olynk - 36
    • Sochan - 21
    • Harper - 18 (projected 21)
    • Kornet - 17
    • Wembanyama - 6 (projected 18)
    • Castle - 4 (projected 14)

Barnes, Vassell, Johnson, and Champagnie have played in all 14 games, all averaging close to double figure scoring and playing at least 23 mpg.

    Opponent
    • Atlanta is without Porzingis (no idea he played there), Young, and last year's #1 Risacher... yet they are currently the 5th seed and have the 11th best record in the league (pick swap implications).
    • Atlanta has won 4 straight road games all against Western teams.

I've watched them play a bit and Alexander-Walker (SGA's 1st cousin) is a really sharp fellow and impressive guard.
Totally well coached group by Quin Snyder.

Fox, Barnes, Johnson need to keep up their top notch play.
You never know what Vassell/Champagnie are going to produce but Kornet is due for a good scoring game after laying a goose egg Tuesday.

Game is first on NBA TV, and per my app it will be available if you have the upper-tier League Pass.
Otherwise google istreameast for the game.

Hawks don’t have a great inside man on the court and Spurs leaving guys open on the arc.

Again with Sochan getting the shot at the buzzer. Anyway, when you can get the ball in the lane and the shots are falling it’s a good game to watch. Garcia yeah

Sochan has regressed heavily from an offensive standpoint.

Credit where credit’s due, Spurs took advantage of some atrocious Hawks D.

For the Spurs to get to the level we want, KJ, Champ and Vassell need this kind of production consistently. Even when the other 3 return.

I pick on Sochan as much as the next guy but he didn’t force much offensively tonight.

    DJG….. wow

Just shows how good NBA players are when the defense isn't great against them.

Sad true. We will see if he can make progress. It might be a rust problem tbh. But it is not looking good now.
