The players are getting payed now.
Extending the practices for the bowl game and getting younger paid players playing time is very useful.
They got a job while going to school now. Just like many other students who don’t get paid nearly as much as football majors.
ND needs to join a conference. Especially if we must have conf championships. The conf championships need to go. Play one more conference game for every school instead. (Never will happen)
Texas was 2-2 vs. teams in the CFB playoffs, ND was 0-2. Texas has no business being in the CFB championships imo.
This year we could have 4 teams in the CFB playoffs and be just fine.
Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, and Texas Tech.
Oregon would cry foul… and Ole Miss would be told “you lost your HC”
We would still be fine imo.
Do you think it’s meaningless to the television sponsors ? To the revenue the game will generate ?
If you feel they spurned you, why would you want to do something good for them ?
im hoping the Norte Dame fanbase boycott the playoffs on tv. If their ratings are not good, maybe the sponsors will force them to pull their heads out of their asses.
But I’m not sure the ncaa could pull their heads out of their asses even if they wanted to.
Citrus and Cheese.
Something is not palatable with this label.
Breakfast with grapefruit and CheezIts… MY FAVORITE
The game is still going to be played so I'm not sure what level of disappointment and loss of revenue you're referring to.
Ok…you don’t think there will be a drop in tv ratings when a mediocre team replaces Notre Dame ?
lower tv ratings = lower revenue generation. Not that hard to understand.
if Texas would join them and tell ncaa to pound sand, the tv sponsors would get ncaa’s attention.
The ncaa probably wouldn’t do anything anyway. Pack of morons
Well yeah but it's not that a "mediocre team" is replacing them bowl game itself for TV, it's the fact that Notre Dame won't be playing anywhere at all during bowl season that is mildly disappointing.
There are a lot of P4 schools declining though which is really what is making TV execs nervous.

He's a human cheat code. Sick.
IT had an update on DB room...
- Coach Akina isn't expected to return
- they still feel good about S Jelani McDonald staying
- CB Kobe Black is a mystery since he was passed up on the depth chart, but then played well against A&M
- CB Wardell Mack and S Derek Williams, Jr. are trending towards transferring
