According to IT, Texas' negotiations with WR Ryan Wingo, OL Trevor Goosby, DT Hero Kanu and CB Wardell Mack are looking good.
They're not out of the woods yet, however.
Nothing to report right now on the status of TE Jack Endries.
Any idea ? Was it $$$ ?
Bad news before the good news, and hopefully speaks to Sark's aggression in the portal.
OTF reporting Texas is likely to sign Memphis K Gianni Spetic, who was a semifinalist for the Groza Award this season

I had a feeling this was the case when I saw this before the Ole miss and Georgia game. Sucks to see him leave. He could've been a nice reliable slot WR like Whittington was for them a few years ago. I'm sure he saw the writing on the wall when Sark had his 1on1's with the staff/players. Best of luck to him
247 had a few notes...
- they're expecting close to 20 portal visitors in Austin over the next two weeks
- Texas signing Louisville RB Isaac Brown wouldn't affect the pursuit of Florida RB Jadan Baugh as the staff wants two guys and they're different backs, but NIL cost is a different discussion
- Florida TE Hayden Hansen is a prospect the staff is showing interest in
Unless these WRs (Moore and Livingstone) are being told that their future with the program is not promising based on their 1:1’s, I don’t get the desire to portal out. You have the opportunity to play with a potentially generational talent in Arch Manning as he hopefully puts it all together in 2026 and will have a shot at a Natty. Why give that up when you’re already in that room? It seems like most WRs nationwide would jump at the chance to be in that room and play with Arch.
IT reporting Arkansas DT Ian Geffrard will be in Austin tonight.

Per IT, OL Connor Robertson is supposed to meet with the staff today about his future.
Their source said he'd prefer to play one more year even though he walked with the seniors before the A&M game.
IT is expecting 10+ visitors, and maybe even as many as 15, this weekend.
As of this morning, IT has Texas leading for Auburn WR Cam Coleman.
