ICE was never in danger. They shot at the victim on a residential street for attempting to drive away. There was no riot. There were a handful of bystanders. Barely enough for a book club.

The officers were yelling, "get out of the car!," not "get out of here!." You'll note, in the video, the vehicle was in reverse. The driver then put the vehicle in drive at, in my estimation, tried to run over the officer in front of her vehicle.
I'm sure all the body cams will be released and there will be other vantage points but, I'm equally sure the Left will have this officer tried, convicted, and imprisoned before sunrise tomorrow.

That's why she was turning to avoid the secret police.
Deploying ICE officers and a panoply of other US agencies as a roving urban tactical assault force has only been normal since last year, and so is using that force to detain, punish and kill US citizens -- immigration law belongs mainly to the administrative track, not the criminal one. Pouring so many guns into the US's immigration bureaucracy is also a relative historical novelty.
Apparently, the world where g-men shoot other Americans in cold blood for mere noncompliance is the one GAustex wants to live in.
They are all very excited about secret police, especially if they start killing US citizens they don't like.
This is their endgame.
