IT said tonight Texas isn't out of the woods yet on negotiations with certain players, particularly a handful of young guys who are anxious to get more playing time and money.
There were rumors elsewhere today that RB Christian Clark isn't on the same page with the staff currently.

Hope he's okay. One of my favorite WRs to watch play. Coy Eakin for Tech has flashes at times that remind me of Shipley.
IT posted that they're expecting LB Bo Barnes to enter the portal.
They added that Texas asked Barnes to take a pay cut based on his projected role for 2026.
He was willing to negotiate, but the number ended up being too low for him.

I don't know if this has anything to do with Florida DE Jayden Woods trending towards staying at Florida, but my guess is it's related.
