ICE wouldn't need to be there in full force if Walz and Frey would have cooperated and worked with ICE from the start. Instead of cooperating they instructed their police to not help ICE. Instead of cooperating they instructed their police to ignore ICE detainers and criminal illegal aliens were being released from jail purposely without ICE being notified. Instead of cooperating Walz and Frey urged their citizens to resist ICE. ICE was forced to send in more agents because the state was not cooperating with a federal operation. Those two dip s caused this entire mess. I did some reading and the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) - to which I'm sure your referring - explicitly allows the use of tear gas (and similar riot control agents) for domestic law enforcement, such as policing or crowd control inside a country.
when ICE raids your neighborhood in full battle-rattle and you go outside to see what's going on
or you try to escape with your children to safety from Trump's violent goons
