Trumps ing regime change plans are blowing up in his face. The son is more radical than the old man and they have the upper hand. They are letting their friends ships including China to move through the strait unmolested and blowing up everyone else. The only way to stop them is boots on the ground or US capitulation including war damage reparations.
Without a draft, there's no way the US could assemble enough troops to invade Iran, and even if we did, the damage would already be done, it would take months and months.
South Asia and SE Asia are going to eat because of the closure, wouldn't be totally surprised if they decide that China is a more stable and reliable trade/security partner than the US.
Trump is killing the stock market world wide. Every day is more red. Fortunately I'm in for the long haul and this will eventually pass but I'm down $50,000 since they attacked Iran.

Even if we obliterate the Iranian state, what that does is create even more instability right next to the world's most important shipping lane, with no controlling political authority to make deals with.
