symptom of a lawless, bird regime
people should go to prison for disappearing a guy into Bukele's torture gulag against a court order
ICE deported a man to Mexico in violation of a court order in Nov., acknowledged the error and returned him to the U.S.
Then they deported him to El Salvador, in violation of court-ordered torture protection. He's currently imprisoned.

racial profiling, criminal charges concocted as a pretext for civil detention by ICE
the charges were dropped, but Longoria still faces detention
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...ooting-lawsuitDuring the hearing, the US attorney acknowledged he couldn’t think of a lawful basis for the officers to stop Longoria’s truck, and he wasn’t aware of any injuries to the officers. The judge said the videos recorded inside the truck were “quite scary”, and granted Longoria bond.
ICE beat up David Huerta and charged him with felony assault on federal officers. Now DOJ is dropping the charges because they won't hold up in court and might reveal official misconduct
Pure official oppression

"worst of the worst"
https://religionnews.com/2026/07/24/...mass-in-texas/Ugboaja is part of the Daughters of Mary Mother of Mercy and volunteered as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, a spokesperson for the Diocese of Brownsville has said. Ugboaja is also a registered nurse at South Texas Health System and worked previously for 10 years as a certified nursing assistant in Edinburg, the spokesperson said.
Ugboaja said that on the day she was taken into custody, she begged the officers to let her attend Mass and receive Holy Communion, but was told she could not.
“For me, a nun, not to go to Mass on Sunday, not to receive Communion, it was very, very heartbreaking for me,” she said.
third country removals are morally depraved
Her attorney, Carlos M. Garcia, sat next to Ugboaja at the news conference and provided details about her immigration case. He said that in 2019 an immigration judge denied her application for asylum but granted her protection from removal to Nigeria because she likely would be tortured there. Garcia said Ugboaja, who is a nurse, has complied with everything required of her and had permission to work in the U.S.
When ICE detained Ugboaja in June, she wasn’t given much explanation as to why she was taken into custody, her attorney said. But the U.S. planned to remove her to a third country, he added.

sending people to countries they have no previous relation to -- shackled in heavy arm-leg-waist chains for dozens of hours on planes that take them to exotic locations on continents far, far away from their homeland -- is some hardcore dystopian

not a few white Europeans have been swept into the immigration dragnet too, but yeah
WASHINGTON (AP) — Trump administration has detained more than 50 spouses, parents of US troops in immigration crackdown, AP review finds.

from a month or two back, more death in the US immigration gulag
https://www.thebulwark.com/p/ice-is-...iran-war-trumpYesterday morning, NBC News reported on the sudden death earlier this year of an Afghan national in the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Mohammad Nazeer Paktiawal, 41, had fought for a decade alongside U.S. Special Forces in Afghanistan. He was evacuated when U.S. troops pulled out in 2021 and entered the U.S. legally. He became a truck driver, worked at a market and bakery, and had requested asylum to remain here. That claim was pending when ICE seized him for deportation at his home in Richardson, Texas, on the morning of March 13, as he was getting his children ready for school.
Paktiawal died the next day in ICE custody. His death certificate says he died from “an adverse drug reaction” to an unidentified substance which triggered anaphylaxis and exacerbated his asthma, and his death was ruled an accident. We do know from his wife that he relied on an inhaler for asthma. We also know that ICE agents rejected her attempt to give them the device when he was taken into custody. We also know that Texas authorities have refused to release his autopsy report, arguing its disclosure would interfere with a pending criminal investigation.
Mohammed Nazeer Paktiawal was not a criminal. He was not here illegally. He was a threat to no one—except perhaps the Taliban. There was no reason for ICE to detain him—except to meet its arrest and deportation quotas. There is no reason for most of the fifty deaths in ICE detention during Trump’s second term except that the Trump administration is unsparing in pursuit of its mass deportation agenda, an agenda that is as irrational as it is cruel.
tearing families apart, ruining good people's lives
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/trump-v...-arrest-texas/John Gannon says he deeply regrets his decision to vote for President Trump after his fiancée, an immigrant from Venezuela, was arrested and detained by federal immigration agents last month.
A lifelong Republican and Texas businessman, Gannon, 75, said his plans to marry 45-year-old Yasmin Suarez Reyes were derailed when she was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Houston's international airport in late July.
"I voted for Trump," he told CBS News during an interview Wednesday, before criticizing ICE. "They are picking up law-abiding citizens. They're destroying families, jobs."
Asked what he would tell Mr. Trump if given the chance to talk to him, Gannon said he would ask the president, "What are you doing?"
"Go after the criminals. We're all for that. But leave the mom and pops and the kids alone. Man, he's destroying families," Gannon added.
Gannon said he and Suarez Reyes were planning to travel from Houston to Las Vegas on July 24 for a furniture industry convention. Gannon owns more than 1,000 billboards in the U.S. as well as several establishments in Mexico, including a hotel and a restaurant.

dumbass secret police wrongly detaining Americans
https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/us-...IGQPXYUCMBW5E/“They cuff me and start asking me, ‘What’s your name? What’s your birthday?’” he said.
He says after about five minutes in handcuffs, agents found his Georgia ID and showed him a picture of the man they were actually looking for.
“He looks nothing like me, other than that he’s a white guy and I’m a white guy,” Phillips said.
Agents told him the other man was from England but shared his name and birthday.
Immigration attorney Charles Kuck said ICE still must have probable cause to make an arrest.
“There is no probable cause here. A matching name and birth date is not probable cause,” Kuck said.
Phillips now wants to know how this happened.
“I just am flabbergasted that all of the security that we have at the airport, that they don’t know that I am the John Phillips that lives in Georgia and is not an English guy,” he said.
ICE confirmed the incident but said it is still working on a full statement.

Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

lawless, bird regime staffed by violent cretins
Little to no accountability
midterms coming up
accountability will come eventually, Trump is losing big time
it's very hard to consolidate an authoritarian regime with a wrecked public sector and 33% public approval while you're losing an historically unpopular war and trying to ethnically cleanse the USA
Last edited by Winehole23; 08-11-2026 at 07:16 PM.
Trump couldn't pacify Yemen, how will he pacify 50 US states?
Even if he wanted to cancel the midterms, I don't think he has the power to do it.
Trying to do it would annihilate his popular support and would probably commence a hot civil war that he would lose.
