Sorry I wasn't clear I was referring specifically to Texas. Half of the ads I see from Republicans refer to "boys playing in girls sports".
I think in Texas it's enough of an issue for the fence riding simple minded folks to vote R.

It’s a record for a midterm in Georgia: roughly 185,000 people voted in person today, on Day 1 of early voting.
The prior record was set in 2022, with roughly 130,000 voters.
In hindsight, gerrymandering everything into R +10 to 15 districts, heavily reliant on new coalition voters whose Abuela you were getting ready to deport and then ting the bed economically probably wasn’t the best idea.
