Question: Do people believe that the Nuggets have any chance to win 3 straight against a healthy Spurs game?
So, why do people think Dallas can win 3 straight against Warriors?
Let's say Dirk scores 40 points.... I still don't think it will win the game without some serious stops against GS.
But, we'll see what happens tonight. A win tonight in Dallas, and maybe, just maybe, Mavs can win Game 6.

HAVOC - I agree with the rotate him off the bench, I never said sit him for the rest of the game or the series. Just pull him if you see he's in a rut. Which he hasnt been able to play thru and come out of this entire series. Just that AJ should have pulled him for a while.
I know he's the team, I got all your points. We are on the same page...
and the Nuggets dont have a chance unless the Spurs go into Brainfart mode... but that doesn't mean the Mavs cant suddenly outscore GS... lol...
Bah. Seeding doesn't matter. That's been proved over and over in the playoffs...
Right now, the Warriors are playing harder than the Mavs. Now, that could change, and being back in Dallas could help, BUT the Mavs still need to win in Oakland.
The difference is, the Warriors know they can beat the Mavs in Dallas. , if they kept their composure in Game 2, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.
I just think that Dallas' chances are slim to none, and it seems their seeding is giving people false hope (not just here, but SI as well...)

6 of those points came on two desperation threes when the game was out of hand.
but he still hit the shots...
what if Harris gets the ball in to a wide open Howard and he hits a 3??
then Howard is the guy who hit a clutch shot.
and Dirk's were still meaningless?
Makes sense...![]()
they're not meaningless....but you've gotta admit that there's a huge amount of difference between heaving up a desperation three when your team has almost no chance of winning, and hitting the game-tying 3-pointer to send it to OT. if dirk hits THAT shot, then he's doing something clutch.
I get what you're saying, I've just found it funny that some people are saying he really scored 17 pts because those 6 don't count...
I'd rather he have hit on the shots he air-balled (WTF?) instead, but he still hit the shots and they still had a chance at the buzzer...
not to mention, no D.
GS made sure they didn't even breathe on Dirk for those final 3's...
Jackson was right in front of Dirk (very close) with both arms straight up in front of him on one of them...
