I am not a huge fan but I like it. It gives our college players a league here in the states to play instead having to go overseas.
Hey, i give credit to Stern for sticking with it. I wish they develop a triple AAA system first for each team instead of WNBA. They can learn alot by fully developing a Triple AAA team for each team. then go to markets that work with WNBA.
WNBA has bad marketing but the marketing also falls with the players.
If the WNBA folds, how the are the Spurs going to create tax losses to offset their gains?
This shows how little you know about the league. You couldn't even take the Stars one-on-one, never mind a HS team (who would get absolutely destroyed BTW) . The WNBA is a different brand of basketball, one based more on finesse, as a part of the NBA which is more based on speed and power. a crappy men's intramural team easily beat the tennessee women's team (the ncaa champs at the time). you're vastly overestimating the ability of women basketall players. a decent men's highschool basketball team would smoke any wnba team.
WNBA is pretty garbage. They're guards are my height and I would smash on there guards. As long as they don't have like a guard who's like 6'3"- 6'5", I doubt they do, I'd smash on them.

It's pure speculation, but my guarantee is:
Give me a ball(mens size, not women) and gym, pit me against a WNBA player that is shorter than or is 6'2" and they will lose.

What I'm saying is that I don't play with no girls ball, it plain sucks, it's light as and small as , a mens ball is where it's at, but since the the WNBA player is a pro, there should be no problem for her since she's SO "BETTER" than me and I admit if the WNBA Guard is taller than 6'3" I'd lose (I'm 5'9"), but I doubt there are any guards in the WNBA that are taller than 6'3".
And if we have to use a girls ball than so be it, I'd expend less energy shooting it, but I'd have to practice a couple of minutes with it first.
I don't understand the at ude. I have never heard a WNBA player say that she is "so better" than anyone. On the other hand, I've heard plenty of men say that they could kick a WNBA players ass. Sounds to me like male insecurity, but I could be wrong.
E20, let me know if you ever intend on contacting the WNBA to set up this asskicking you plan on dishing out to the player that meets your criteria. If it helps the process, Becky Hammon is your height.
You know, I think I heard something like this from an SVU episode. And it was just as wrong there.
The boys in this thread are embarrassing. Even if you aren't a fan of WNBA, you are all talking pure nonsense.
And Becky Hammon and most top guards in the league could kick E20's ass in basketball no matter which ball they use.
