I keep hearing this but his lifetime NBA percentage is almost 34%. That's not stellar, but hardly falls into the can't shoot worth category, IMHO.Glover can not shoot worth ...
I'll bet Sequ scribbled in other kid's coloring books when he was a tyke.

When did he grow? I must have missed the memo.I'll bet Sequ scribbled in other kid's coloring books when he was a tyke.
is not that better then what barry is shooting this year![]()
I meant a younger tyke.
Actually, it's not. Barry is shooting .346 which rounds up to 35%.
Furthermore....I think someone posted some of Glover's stats from the Turkish league(accrued before he was waived)...I think his 3pt PCT was 23%...in the Turkish leagues....THIS YEAR.
I wonder why the Spurs don't call the guy Brodels(or was it Bandit) suggested...Dana Barros...that guy looked like the best suggestion anyone made last year.
maybe because hes retired.
SO? Maybe he'll be willing to unretire.
Sean Elliott and Steve Kerr were retired last season, Elliott long retired...the Spurs called both of them.
IMO, if you are getting waived from the Turkish leagues you probably need to retire.
I am still here.........................................
Live from Orlando..............
Unless the eventual World Champions are giving you a call.
Glover = 10-day term insurance, or at best, this year's Brandon Williams.
Brandon wears a ring.
Im not huge on calling guys up that are retired and just got fired from Dream Job.
No thanks.
Well, at least the Spurs have a nice, clean 3-deep.

I'm sure he's here mostly to even out practice squads while Manu rests, but they specifically sought out a vet so they must be thinking he might get some time these next few games.
Whattttt???
Ulker is not that horrible. It's among 16 best european teams.
I was saying he's put up some good numbers in the NBA but the teams he played on sucked.
Thanks for the explanation.
Stats:A week before the Top 16 starts, Ulker of Istanbul has released shooting guard Dion Glover and registered swingman Dusan Vukcevic in his place on the team's Euroleague roster. Ulker had signed Vukcevic almost a month ago, but because he started the season with another Euroleague team, Olympiacos, he was ineligible to play again until the Top 16. Glover, in his first season with Ulker, averaged 8.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 14 Euroleague games, but saw his playing time reduced as the season went along. Glover boosted his numbers to 11.2 points and 3.6 rebounds in the Turkish League. Vukcevic brings plenty of experience to Ulker after having made the Final Four the last two seasons with Montepaschi Siena.

I liked Glover in Atlanta, but I never though we'd pick him up for some reason.
Still doubt the bloke would be here for long (10 days in fact.)
Did the Spurs activate Johnson III? I thought he was still limping around after the cast was removed or something.
That's 15 players. So that includes all players on the IR (Marks, Wilks, Johnson).
No, they didn't.

Here's Glover talking after practice today.

dion glover is awesome i think thats he's what we needed, he's a poor mans andrei kirelenko
AK47?
Glover is pretty much another Devin Brown. Built like a tank and with pretty much the same attributes. When the Spurs go small, he'd be useful because he can rebound well for a guard.
We'll see how he does and if he's with the Spurs for more than 10 days.
Best of luck to you, Dion!!
Just relax, I'm sure all the Spurs want you to succeed and stick around as much as you do.
