Sorry but Tony Parker destroyed Steve Nash and Jason Kidd.
This list is stupid.
should we trade for kobe bryant? we do have 21m in expiring contracts comin of the books end of this season....

1, 17, and 33 isnt half bad...and whether or not you want to admit it...Parker had a much bigger impact on the Finals than Manu.
I love how people get bent out of shape when people outside of the spurs rate tp 16 spots above manu
this is not 2005 anymore people
yea no kidding, parker was almost unstoppable in last years playoffs, he penetrated, hit jumpers when they took the lane away and created more than usual. It amazes me how so many spurs fans can't just be happy that Tony is doing well and Manu is still Manu, they are the same team we should not have to tear one guy down to make the other guy look better.
Parker is the best player in the NBA.
Apparently spurs fans watched a different finals than everyone else...
Wow, you might have a point if I would have mentioned his offense. I know the guy's numbers. But you CANNOT be a top 20 player (or a top 10 big man) in this league if you're getting torched in the Western Conference Finals by Fabricio Oberto, a guy who didn't even start most of the year for the Spurs.
Boozer putting up points wasn't a major concern for our defense, considering we dominated Utah the entire series. Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire blow up every year they play us... do we care? The "experts" can talk about how dominant their numbers are, and we'll just be content to watch them get knocked out of the playoffs time and time again.
And what makes you think I'm hating? I like Boozer and his at ude, and I love the Jazz as a team. I think they're fun to watch, Deron is a beast, and they have a great shot at surprising a lot of people this year. IF they learn to play post defense.
Just because I don't wank to solely offensive players suddenly means I'm a hater? Hmmm. Fine then. I just thought that was part of being a Spurs fan. But you proved me wrong!![]()
All im saying is a guy doesnt exactly get 'torched' when his man averages 10 points per game while he has to have one eye on the leagues best player on defense as well as his man (who happens to be one of the best movers off the ball for a big man in the league).
Pass the pipe
Great with TD as #1, ok with Manu ... but come on... no Scola in that list ??![]()
Kobe number 1 - obviously not, this is the Duncan era period. His teams have had the winningest percentage of any team in the history of major league sports over a comparable time, 4 les, about ten first team NBA and first team NBA defense + two time MVP and 3 time MVP.
Bryant is fabulous and one of a few true superstars in the game, but no way he should be number one, Tony Mejia great call!
The Spurs led the NBA in Point differential the past 4 seasons, and were 2nd in 2003.
This despite Duncan playing < 70 games in '04 and '05, and we all know about his foot injury in '06.
The '07 Spurs had the best point differential of Duncan's career.
I don't have the stats before '03, but I think the Spurs had the best record in '01 as well.
dude anybody could figure LeBron is better than kobe, but i totally agree with the number 1 ranking.
