You know, there is that part of me that fears that Hillary will be our 44th president. Then I remember all the dealings that will, without doubt, come out if she is the democrat nominee.

The Rose Law firm billing records. She was subpoenaed to supply them and said they were destroyed, just to have them turn up two years later in her custody.

The Cattle Futures where she raked in a bundle will be brought up again.

    The Whitewater stuff.

    The firing of travel agents.

Now, Sandy Burglar on her campaign... We all knew he did the Clintons a favor by destroying incriminating evidence, but is she beholden to him enough to give him a job?

So many other things that are open secrets about her illegal activities. I'm pretty sure they will bite her hard. Any thoughts?

I think Obama has a better chance of winning against the republican niminee...

WC, I think it entirely possible that she could become our next
President. If voters stay home on the Republican side, she
will be elected. And the news media is going to do all they can
to make her look good. I can almost guarantee none of the
past indiscretions of her or Bill will be talked about by the
MSM in the upcoming election. And every negative thing
that MSM can dig up on the Republican nominee will be brought
to light. MSM will attempt to get the pro-life people worked
up, anti- sexual folks worked up and point out how
the Republican candidate supports what they oppose.
Oh mud pies will be slung like you have never seen them
thrown before. And voting fraud like you have never seen.

The problem there is that the only people who care about all that stuff are the ones who already are predisposed not to vote for her. There's not going to be some huge revelation where the nation wakes up and says, "Oh my, I never realized that HRC is a cunning, ruthless, opportunist with a long history of shady dealings!" In a strange way, given Bush's image of naive credulity, her image as a cold, calculating political animal may actually help her if only in its stark contrast to Bush.

HRC does have unusually strong negative ratings for a presumptive nominee. The concern would be getting those people who dislike Hillary to the polls to vote against her, given the milquetoast Republican field, and the possibility of a suicidal third-party defection by evangelical conservatives if Giuliani gets the nomination.

Absolutely. Barring some lesbian sex video leak, HRC is going to be your next President.

I shiver every time I say that.

What if Gore decides to run? There's a lot of talk that he hasn't declared because he's up for a Nobel.

    Im not mocking you, but...

Homeboy had his chance. Lost his mind for 6 months after the loss (honestly, I dont know if I blame him).

Hilary is an opportunist who doesnt go too far away from whats popular or what lines her pockets. She doesnt take chances with her actual opinions.

Gore does/did (inconvenient truth). I dont think the sheep would like it too much, but I am certainly no political analyst.

The only reason I would want her to win is to see all the neocons here flip-flop their views on executive power.

But yes, she is electable. You guys are ed.

I don't think the neocons wouldn't mind. Us conservatives would really wish she didn't have such powers though...

But you're fine with Bush's having those powers -- so you aren't really a conservative.

What a terrible place we live in when a bunch of people want Hillary to win just so they can do the "See, now you know how it feels".

You understand that if she wins, WE are all ed.

See, I disagree. You get Hillary and you get at least four more years of a severely seperated America that either hates or loves their government.

In my opinion, Hillary is the same as Bush, just a different party.

I can't believe that. The more I see the way things are going, it might just be Clinton or possible Gore in office. OH NO. What about a Clinton/Gore ticket or Gore/Clinton. Maybe Cheney will lose his stigma. That will definitely start the countdown for the declination of this nation. I also liked the way they set up that poll question on that same page. "Would you vote for a woman in the '08 election". Me, I would vote for a woman, but not that woman

That started a few years back with NAFTA, CAFTA and all the other globalist deals that put the profits of big business above the interest of working Americans. Its the reason that John or Mike can't find a manufacturing job and has to sell insurance or wait tables.

Of course she is electable. Americans are lazy and used to the finer things in life. They will eat up those socialists programs until they can no longer breathe without a Clinton in office.

Plus Bush has screwed up so much that people will ignorantly vote democrat regardless.

The same ones that demanded they have affordable homes, then OMGWTF@!!!111111!11one when their ARM increases. It's all good though, nothing a few million taxpayers can't bail them out of.
