can he still move quickly and block shots? Yao Ming is 310lbs also and he can barely move on defense but he is 6 inches taller, and those 310lbs are all muscles too

Uh, that is bad news. Gaining weight post-knee surgery is about the worst thing you can do.

This is bad. In five years, he's gonna bust those knees of his. Maybe even within 2 years.

I thought I read 9 or 4 weeks ago that they were cutting down his weight training because he was putting on too much weight and muscle.

I really hope Oden's career isn't sidelined by injuries. Anyone who wishes that is seriously sick. He's a good kid and I enjoyed watching him play in college. The thought of him at 310 pounds is just scary, in a bad way. That's about the worst thing you can do after microfracture surgery.

they should have monitored him more closely from the start. but its all hindsight now.

instead of a tall, quick and agile center, they now have a muscle-bound grotesque with a knee that could explode any second.

Just owning players I'm supposed to own. Greg Oden won't be a fluke injury recovery specimen like Amare.

Here is a recent video of Greg.

He certainly doesn't look too heavy to me. He's just a BIG DUDE. His re-hab's going great and he will dominate the league next year.

I don't know what's more idiotic, Oden putting on more muscle weight after a delicate knee surgery, or tlong bragging about it like its a good thing
