He loves D&D. That alone makes him awesome.

That fast break dunk last night where he ended up hanging on the rim was pretty cool.
It was.
I haven't looked for a pic of last night's, but here's one from last May.

Nope...
From NBA.com http://www.nba.com/aroundtheassociation/080304.html
"It is that time of year again: March is doing its lion thing, which means, as it does every year, that the Spurs have traded in their modest excellence, which pre-All-Star break serves as camouflage in the West, for the ostentation of supremacy. Every year they outlast the strong starters around the league and suddenly become visible in the spring, at which point people look at the standings and say something like, "Don't look now, but the Spurs have the best record in the West."
But so much for the Spurs' steady success being outshined by the Suns and their big Shaquisition or drowned out by the Lakers and theirs (alternate puns severely lacking for Mavs, Hornets and Jazz): San Antonio, which sits at No. 1 in the Power Rankings, won its 10th straight game on Tuesday night, defeating New Jersey for the second time in three days. And, don't look now, but Tim Duncan is the best power forward in the West: He had 29 points and 12 rebounds in 34 minutes. BTW: The new New Jersey Net, Devin Harris, got his first start in his new Nets jersey, but for the first time failed to net 21 points. "
Uh....they are just now saying this? He has been for quite sometime!![]()
No, they've been saying it for years.
The point of it is that Duncan, and the Spurs, are always under the radar until this time of the season when all of a sudden everybody notices them.
Lots of articles say the same thing every year at this time. The Spurs are forgotten, written off, all the attention is on other teams. Last year it was the Mavs and the Suns, this year it's the Celtics and the Lakers. Then the Spurs wake up and begin to shape into playoff form. That's when they all start to notice and say what this article says.
dusting this off for the Suns game.

Keep dusting it didn't work!
Nice to see TD bouncing back strong in the last 2 games, that 8 games in 11 days was just brutal you could see he was dog ass tired. He'll do damage against the Mavs tomorrow, like always. 31 and 15 last time he played them.
He was great.
Even the fantasy owners are happy.

Fantasy Basketball Breaking News
Duncan has versatile game in rout of Kings
Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds for the Spurs on Friday, adding three assists, two steals and three blocks in a rout of the visiting Kings.
After losing four straight games, the Spurs have now righted the ship and have a humble two-game winning streak going. One thing owners can always count on? Tim Duncan playing like an MVP.
Great game by Timmy tonight. 19pts 15 reb on 7-10 from the field. 4 blks some highlight ones stuffing Howard, we need to get some pics of that, come on Duncan228, help us out.![]()
I'm on the pic hunt.
He was great tonight.
He really is awesome!
Duncan isn't awesome!
Awesome is Duncan!!
i really hate my cable provider.![]()
26pts 12 reb, on 8-10 from the field with 10-13 from the line for Timmy tonight. 2 blks 12 reb just a flat out stud. So proud of him to do it on a back to back like this. Just the man tonight.
On of my fav Duncan blocks, anyone have the one where he blocks Howard the other night that was just legendary.
I have always wondered where people get this stuff. Same with the Chuck Norris jokes.![]()
Tim Duncan continues to astound me. Even with 4 rings, he's still going out there and playing with hunger and fire. Yet another night when he leads his team in rebounding, scoring and assists. We are all witnesses.
He has just become such a great leader over the years as well. He is the man and the Spurs all know it and respect the out of him. When you go to battle with a guy that great and clutch, everyone on the team is relaxed.
I also would really apperciate a photo of Tim blocking Dwight Howard's dunk attempt. That was just a sick rejection that was glossed over in the highlight packages on NBATV. I was like DAYUM, I didn't know that Timmy could still do it like that!!!!!!!!!!
Dikembe would've been proud.![]()

Such things you do not find. Rather, it is revealed to you by Master Yoda.
Better late than never to post in this thread.
I <3 Timmy!
