    Mavs fans,

What's your favorite Mavericks memory? Here's the ones I could think of that were great. I was a fan from 1992 on, so I don't know alot of the great 80's moments. But here's what I think are the greatest moments in Mavericks history.

    1. Dirk's And-1: Pretty obvious. Maybe the greatest single play in Mavericks history.

    2. Moody Madness: OT win at Moody Coliseum, first playoff series win in Mavs history over the Sonics.

    3. Beating The Jordan Bulls: Finley outplayed Jordan, Ceballos was ing bad ass, and the little Mavericks took down the Bulls in overtime.

    4. Taking the Lakers to 7: Closest the Mavs ever got to the Finals until they got there a couple years ago.

    5. Comeback to beat the Jazz: Down 0-2 in the series, the young Mavs win 3 straight. Dirk owns Malone. Calvin Booth hits a clutch shot and gets a big ass contract for it.

    6. Shawn Bradley announces his retirement: A great moment for all sports fans.

And I picked beating the Jordan Bulls because I remember that game so well. I loved the Finley/Ceballos "dynamic duo" and to see them beat the Bulls was probably the happiest I've ever been as a Mavs fan. Dirk's And-1 was wonderful, but being a kid seeing them beat the Bulls was probably better.

As Emmitt Smith would say, it was a "diamond in the poopoo".

Dirk's And one should be changed to DeSagana Diop's Game 7 Overtime. I'm pretty sure that's what Mavsfan1000 was really picking.

i was at the Bulls game when Phil pulled all the starters then was forced to put them back in because mavs made a run and made it close. Cedric Ceballos then proceed to hit a 3 pointer in the corner to tie up the game to send the game to OT.

I should have put "Devin Harris Being Born" because I'm sure he thinks that's the greatest moment in Mavs history. He probably ranks that one a tick below the birth of Jesus.

Nah. It's when Jason Kidd beat his wife and quit on New Jersey as well as Dallas.

Mine was Dirk dropping 50 on the Suns in the '06 WCF. I think it was Game 3, Tim Thomas hit a 3-pointer early in the 2nd half and taunted Dirk on his way back to other end of the court. After that, Dirk single-handedly destroyed the Suns. It was the most brutal beating my team has taken from a single player.

Yep Dirk's and 1 only tied the game. Diop's display in overtime got us the actual win.

We should've traded Dirk for Kidd instead of Diop and Harris.

Mine was Dirk gagging on a free throw with 1:26 remaining in Game 3 of the 2006 Finals and blowing a 13-point lead.

My 2nd when Pop inserted the 37 yo Kerr into the game late in the third quarter while trailing by 15 points of the 2003 WCF.
