please correct me if i am wrong... in 2003 the Spurs didn;t want any part of the suns at all... didn;t we lost the season series 1-3 as well? i think the same thing is going to happen...
the last three championships runs we have lost the first game at home... and i know y'all remember starbury's 3 in 2003...
i have a feeling it will be exactly the same... we may lose the first game and then come back and beat them in 6...
i have so vivid pop's press conference saying " we're are thrilled we don;thave to see them again..."
any one shares this feeling?

PS i am in PHX with my trip booked more than a month ago and i can't believe we got them in the first round... i would love to be able to post some views of interaction with fans here if y'all r up to it
good point but in 2003 the Spurs were still a team trying to find thier iden y, yes that was probably the best team assembled in the past 10 years but still it was only thier 2nd le run....this team now has endured heart ache and championships, 3 together to be accurate, they wont let a game 1 slip at home easy thats for sure....
I don't think the Spurs have ever won a championship without losing game one first, maybe 99.`
2003 three suns were tough. and I still believe them to be scarier than the 05 or 07 suns ever were.

Lost HCA is rd. 1 in '99; don't remember if it was game 1 or 2.
Losing first game at home tomorrow isn't going to happen this time.
