Boy Shaq's D just rattled Duncan didn't it????![]()
If this one doesn't go on their Instant Classics lineup, they should just trash the whole thing.
Boy Shaq's D just rattled Duncan didn't it????![]()
I'm still not over that three
Duncan is back ladies.....watch out
I like how all the other NBA fans watching that national game, can't say ANYTHING ABOUT DUNCAN AT ALL, they just have to sit back and shut up at how good Duncan is.
and realize how they've been forgetting one more guy in addition to Lebron and Kobe talks about the "Best player in the league" label.
Duncan=Legend
The media can kiss Kobe's ass all they want Duncan is still the best player in the NBA.
In case anyone missed this, Duncan's all over the place now.

I was afraid Nash was gonna hit a 2 after Tim's 3... Dude is really nails. That's a guy I respect, despite his lack of defense!
I agree with Tim when he once said that he wished Nash would win one before retiring.
As long as he wins it in 2009 or 2010 as the Spur's back up PG!![]()
Sick. That game was absolutely sick. It personfied why fans of the Spurs are proud of the team. It's not just things like Tim's unselfishness and willpower to win and do anything to get it done. It's not just their constant execution in the crunch time. It's not just the fact that Pop knew to angle Finley just right on the inbounds pass and Bowen knew just how to deny the ball from Nash that forced the Suns to call a TO and use their last one. It's not just that Pop was smart not to call a TO with time dwindling down and let Ginobili handle the game and go for the winning layup.
Spurs are the smartest team in the league. Their execution down to the tiniest of details like inbounds passing and plays outside of Timeouts is absolutely sick.
Amazing. So proud to be a Spurs fan right now. Winning the right way.![]()
That wan not a miracle shot, it is what you call skill.![]()
I don't call it a miracle, he shot it well. It wasn't a crazy circus shot like half of Nash's are.
I loved the moment near the end of the 2nd overtime when the Spurs needed the last stop. TD had a word to say to the entire Spur bench. Every player dropped what they were doing and listened to him and huddled forward to hear him.
THAT my friends is a leader. Imagine how far this man has come since 1998...
Beautiful.![]()
One of the best TD performances of all time... and the 3 was just classic.
Guess shooting those 3s with Beno in warm ups previous years paid off!
I remember seeing that and thought the same exact thing.
I've never been as captivated by a game in my life. This was just a fantastic game. I couldn't have imagined a more entertaining game, much less expect it.
Duncan was in a trash talking 3 point shoot out with an assistant coach before the Jazz game. That paid off too.![]()
By the way people
Game 3 is on 25th of April - who's got birthday on that day?
PS. Tim is making 3pointers on practices and he trains them like everybody else on the team.
Just to remind few of you
It's his team, it has been since '03. It's easy to overlook that, he's quiet about it. He has gotten more vocal in his leadership, it's been wonderful to watch his growth as a leader.
He'll be 32. Still in his prime. I think he's got at least a couple more Championships in him.![]()
Oh...Thanks for starting the thread ShoogarBear. I appreciate it.![]()
me.And be honest, how many of you were thinking 0.4* after he hit the three?
*raises hand*![]()

Classic performance. Tim showed me today that he is still improving his game - I don't think I've ever seen him so mentally tough.
for a split second, i heard shaq saying "one lucky shot deserves another" but i knew that the spurs would hold. did you see that form? the gooseneck? that was not luck, my friends. that was a cold-blooded assassin.
Locked forever in NBA playoff lore, courtesy of NBA Youtube. Man those guys are fast.
