Devin Harris would have been a better matchup defensively on Paul then Kidd. I hope the trade was worth it. Anything short of the NBA Finals will make the trade a bust.
I am so looking forward to the Hornets advancing! No offense to the Mavs -- they're still a very good team and could yet pull out this series.
But I want to be there in the Hive, wearing my Silver & Black, rooting on the Spurs. It is so gratifying watching them win on the road.
But I'm also really happy to see my adopted hometown warm up to the Hornets. Of course, winning helps.

For lunch today, I had a oyster sandwich on whole-wheat bread. The oysters were rolled in oats, and put in the sandwich with spinach, tomato, sauerkraut, and avocado. It was from some place in the French Quarter, off Bourbon St.
I eat great food like this every day! Like I said, I love it here.

Disappointed in the Mavs today but I'm still thinking you will win the series. Stop with the chokejobs already, that shouldn't be the legacy for a player as good as Dirk.

Unfortunately he is the only one that showed up in the 2nd half, but he gets the blame for the team's mistakes. If people just woke up and realized that being 'tough' means in the NBA they would understand that having 'tough guys' Avery Johnson and Stackhouse on this team only hurts us.
I think the Mavs will win this. The Mavs were playing pretty well until CP3 went ballistic, and often is that gonna happen now that the Mavs know he is capable of and will put forth a much better effort to contain him. Mavs in 6 or 7.

The problem is that the Mavs have gotten the habbit of getting large leads only to squander them in the end. What went on today is not unusual with what has happened throughout the season. For some reason Avery is happy to let Kidd run the team to a lead, and then all of a sudden makes a 180 and decides to run his "slow it down, iso heavy system". And we always lose leads like this.
That was low on West's part. Then again, its playoff basketball.
For the Mavs sake, Dirk should take offense to that, the Mavs in general should get a bigger chip on their shoulder...something, b/c it was obvious that New Orleans wanted it more and played with a -the-haters kind of at ude.
