.4![]()
Was that 3 pointer Tim's best shot of his career?
I don't remember seeing him hit another shot greater than that.
I was moved to tears.
I'm so proud of Timmy and my Spurs.
Thanks for ruining a good moment.
Nah, I think it was the one before the 0.4 shot by Fisher which, of course, ruined it for Tim.
I see, timvp beat me to it![]()
Kinda funny/wierd how Shaq was in both in those shots, top of key area.
*twilight zone music plays*
I agree with LJ. The shot Tim hit over Shaq was so much more difficult than Fisher's shot. It was incredible. It's really a shame that Fisher ed it up for Timmy because that truly was the most amazing shot I've seen him make.
After a long time, I'm back! At the right time, I'd say...
Proud of Spurs, proud of Timmy... Congrats!!!![]()
I think you guys are right.
It just may be that the 3 pointer is just so recent.
But, god damn if that wasn't one of his greatest shots.
In the 0.4* game, during the timeout before Duncan's shot I kept yelling, "no fadeaways, no fadeaways!" because I was sick of Duncan not taking it to the hoop.
And then he hit the greatest fadeaway ever.

.4
Game 6 Seattle '05
Today
There are a couple more, I'm not thinking to clearly at the moment. I still haven't caught my breath.![]()
I've always compared the .4 shot to when Jordan hit the "Shot" over Russell, If Russell would of came back down the floor and hit some falling down flipshot over his head at the buzzer to negate the "Shot"
I still love the Shot Timmy had against the Lakers in 2004. I thought right then that he FINALLY had the classic shot you would see for years to come. That darn Fisher just had to ruin it.
And to make things worse, I still remember seeing Karl Malone after the game come and give Fisher a strong pat on the bat.
Anyway, still love today's shot and hope it's what helps complete the DRIVE FOR 5!!

If it leads to the 5th . . . will it be the best shot ever?
We all know what happende with the Fisher shot.
What if we win the 5th . . . honestly, will it be the best ever in Timmy's career??
There's no denying how great that shot was.
And, the .04 I'm thinking is not as great as the 3 point shot.
Who would've thought Timmy wouldve sunk a 3 pointer?
Don't be so cavalier about it.
Before .4 is his best just because of the difficulty alone. Todays three pointer is top 5 but Tim is more than capable of making a wide open three point shot. Major props for clutchness.
DAmn, my eyes lit up when i saw manu pass the ball to tim BEHIND the 3pt line....
O_O
Well, it might not be the best shot of his career. It might not be a shot that leads us to another le. But one thing's for sure. For Phoenix, that shot will have the same effect that the .4 shot had on us.
But the .4 shot was way more difficult.
He was totally out of balance, falling down, and he made it anyway.
Dude, how many powers forswards have you seen sink a shot like thqt?
knowing that it could only tie?
KInowing that it would be a clutch shot?
, jIm more thanc convinced that it was the beswt shot of his life.
I wish people would stop typoing .4 as .04 because the clock would have expired the moment Fisher caught the ball if it had been .04.
ShugarBear is right when he says greatest shot ever. I hope to see something more spectacular in this series though. God Bless Tim Duncan.
Yeah well Brent Barry's three point shot that forced OT against the Kings in Game 2 Round 1 2006 was pretty kick ass too but no one ever talks about it because we didn't win that year. Tim's shot was clutch as and he had a great game today, but I'm getting sick of the whole board thinking winning this one game has somehow gotten us the other 11 wins necessary to get to the Finals again. There is still a lot of basketball to be played.
Dued, what the ?
Barry is expected to hit 3s.
Thats what hes brought in for.
I dont know about you, but when people think about Duncan i don't think they think 3 poin threat.
