Mavs equal ton of playoff experience and Hornets equal no playoff experience. Now if we're talking about more experience in the regular season leading to playoff success I would agree. The key is you gotta have a lot of knowledge how to play the game. Chris Paul has a ton of nba experience so he can get away with little playoff experience.

That's a cliche. Maybe the Hornets played at the same level the first half but after that they put it up a level. It's a long game so maybe not going out too much in the first half helped them out.
