Absolutly right about Suns sort of giving us this game. This game reminds me of the portland game where Sean Dirk_is_my_daddy_Dirk_is_my_daddy_Dirk_is_my_daddy _Dirk_is_my_daddy_Dirk_is_my_daddy_Dirk_is_my_dadd y_ made the memorial day shot. IT was that shot that made the Spurs believe that no team or no cir stance was to much to over come. I believe that this Game will provide that type of mental age the rest of play offs. If spurs had just won by a small margin, the metality would be diffirent, but now it like there is nothing we cant overcome.
pretty sweet, my avi was a .jpg originally as well
Congrats on a clutch win today. Already Dumbtoni has put his stamp on this series though.
Why the he didn't intentionally foul the drive(Parker/Ginobli) BEFORE the kick out to Duncan for the clutch 3 is beyond me and obviously beyond Mad Mike as well.
Hmmm lets see.....we're up 3 with minimal time left on the clock, our perimeter defense is weak, ok lets give the clutchest team in the league a shot attempt....WHATEVER.
Amare played stupid at crunch time which is no surprise due to the MORON who's been "coaching" his ass for 4 years.
Brutal loss today....just brutal. I could only laugh after Ginobli's layup.
D'Antoni.
Extremely late here but congratulations guys. What an unbelievable game. I guess the Spurs aren't THAT boring after all, huh.![]()
That was ty play calling before the 1st OT. They had enough time to come up with a better look than that.
that game was epic!
and a espn instant classic
lmao@
hhahahaha that's so wrong.
Best. Game. Ever.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who sounds like a frog this morning.
Am I the only one whose PVR stopped recording with about 15 seconds to go? I actually missed Nash's shot while I was scrambling to get to live TV. It's now set to go 90 minutes over instead of 60.
After watching the .4 game on ESPNC, I must say it's nice to win one of those epic games.
Now it's time to focus on the next game. If you drop game two at home, it all goes down the drain.
What's with timvp's Game thoughts?
I'm waiting all day just to read them![]()
Great game yesterday.
KT was the unofficial difference maker even with TP/Manu's layup drills and the routine great performance from TD.
However I have one comment on both teams...
This has got to be the floppies, whiniest teams to play each other ever.
JVG and Mark Jackson they were equally harsh on both teams and unafraid to call out both squads for their incessant flopping/acting. Easily my favorite guys in the booth.
I could kill myself... that is all...
Dude, your team played awesome, and Nash has my mad respect as a player, even though that flop against Bruce was horrible.
Still. Nothing to be ashamed about to push the defending champs to max capacity in game one on the road.
test post . . . checking out a bug
I'm not ashamed. I've short-circuited...
Suns can't close. Nash is their only closer, and at 6-3, 175, it's not too terribly difficult to make like hard on him. Until the can close, this is as close as they'll get.
Nash was so ing clutch in that game, I half expected his full court shot to go in.
the fact that is took the Spurs to have have 2ot, TD playing a near perfect game, 2 clutch 3s, Manu/Paker big in 2nd half................ just to win at home has me worried
the way the Suns just dominated the Spurs in the 1st 3 qt was not a good site , and all that was with Shaq on the bench
Weak logic. The game was for either team to win. Spurs just executed down the stretch. So if the Suns won, would you be saying the same thing? That it took them 2 ot's to win?
Suns gave up a 16 point lead. They had plenty of opportunities to end the game. They lost the game. The end.
weak logic? did you watch the game?
yes the Suns CHOKED that win away, that's not a good sign of winning if the other team has to choke it away
The Kings are in the lottery again this year. A familiar sight isn't it? I guess it's better than getting bounced by the Lakers in the playoffs again right.
Great win for the Spurs. They played great and deserved the win and had some clutch moments.
Did you read me post?
Answer the question. Spurs won by 2 points. Meaning that the Suns could have easily won the game as well.
I'll ask again.
If the Suns won. Would you still be saying the same about them needing 2 ot's to beat the Spurs?
I wouldn't know. I'm not a Kings fan. Just like you're not a Laker fan...Jeff.
Maybe he is still getting all his thoughts together, too much to write the game was so exciting.
