Pau Gasol is a known playoff choker........I mean look at his stat-line today. Just terrible.
1-12 coming up....he'll probably make up for all those years on ty teams with just this Lakers Juggernaut this year...16-15 or so. Kobe's so good he even rewrites Playoff failures for teammates.
Pau 34 points so far against the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
I've never seen a player get as many wide-open layups and dunks as Gasol has gotten today. It's as if no one is even guarding him. Denver's defense is awful today.

Lakers won't need Bynum until the WCF. Against the Jazz next round, Lakers are also heavily favored as is because they've put a major hurt on the Jazz a couple times this year. Okur is a jumpshooting Center so Pau's fine for him.
Lakers will roll the Jazz. Rockets would have been a better matchup against the Lakers but I doubt they can beat the Jazz.
Once they meet up with Spurs/Mavs/Suns in the WCF, then Bynum's needed.
Even nicer when the other team is the Nuggets.

What makes it worse is that the Nuggets are also undisciplined on offense as well. I thought this series may go 6 or 7 games, but after watching the Nuggets today, I think the Lakers can finish them off in 5. Nuggets have no answer for Gasol or Odom.
And WTF is up with Odom? He's been playing out of his mind the last month or so. I want the choke artist back, darnit!

Kleiza always plays like an All-Star agains the Lakers. Lakers don't really have a good guard for him since he's so big and pretty quick.

Denver's D isn't good enough to erase a 19-point lead in 12 minutes. That Farmar 3 at the end of the 3rd was brutal.

True that. Nuggets can certainly put up enough points to erase it but can they stop the Lakers from putting 2 back everytime....probably not enough time.
Lamar Odom is sort of injured, now this might be a huge development.
