I feel sorry for the Hawks.
This game has the feel of being a complete blowout.
At least i will get to see Al Horford a bit more, even if its just 4 games.

The Celtics have been the best team all year in regards to consistency. I have always said individual defensive accolades are overrated. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen just proved my theory, because they have become defensive stalwarts in the tight team defense of the Celtics. It will be hard for the Hawks to win this series just based on the rapid fire offense of the Big Three. Plus Kevin Garnett is on a mission. But Celtics beware if you think this is a cakewalk.
The Hawks match up with you quite nicely with the likes of Joe Johnson, Al Horford and Josh Smith. I did not even mention one of the best clutch playoff performers in Mike Bibby. The Hawks have the firepower to win two games in this series and they will.
Projection: Celtics in six.

I don't think this will be a cakewalk for the celtics but in the end they'll probably take the series.
and im making this the series thread instead of just game 1, b/c i am not starting 5 of these.
Celtics in 5 Although I think the Hawks will lose the 2 games in Boston. I just can't see them getting a game in the Garden especially Game 1. Maybe they get a game in the ATL but thats it.
I wonder if Doc Rivers puts in Cassell early if Rondo is struggling? This is Rondo's 1st playoff game.

Let's go Hawks! They stand a chance, after all it's not like #8 has never beaten #1 beforeI think the key will be smoove, Bibs and Jj have PO experience and even Al has the NCaa championship game. Josh is lacking in "big game" experience and he may come out like a deer in headlights.
For those of you who haven't seen much of the Hawks, they're fun to watch and Al is a beast! Woody shaved his head, these stupid nba bets!
I beleive hawks can win 2 games, hope so, I want to go to game 6. The city is excited, it's been a looong time since we made it to the POs and everybody's talking hawks for a change, it's nice. I've been hyped up all day.
Lets go Hawks!!! Mutombo and Kevin Willis made me a ton of money back in the day. Plus the city of Atlanta is great. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.
