Take moments (and passé articles like these) in stride. You know that anyone who would say or write anything like "the Spurs are boring" -- with a straight face -- is probably a casual NBA fan at best.
Most people who read this stuff are the same that watch ESPN. You know what the ESPN top ten looks like -- soccer goals, home runs, big-time dunks, etc. To casual fans, of any sport, that's always the most interesting stuff.
Just remember that you're getting more pleasure out of watching games like the one we had on Saturday -- because you're a real fan -- than just about everyone else around. Including this dip writer.
