Next 2 games in Utah? That's it. See you guys next year with a full complement. Yao Ming/T-Mac/Francis/Scola/Battier
We may be going down in flames but the Mav's are right there with us!!![]()
George Karl has always employed some crazy, outside the box techniques. Martin on Kobe is one of them and it's just a gimmick. It wont work over 7 games.
I remember in the 96 Finals, Karl would start games with Detlef Schrempf guarding Michael Jordan.

I'm still laughing my butt off at Scola choking.
utah sucks, they (fully manned) need the refs to bite on flops and count on other bad calls just to get by the injury-depleted rox.....pathetic.
Houston doesn't even belong in the playoffs
NBA refs ing things up as usual. Pathetic call.
Flopping will be addressed this summer....book it.
Stern will still spin his officials incompetence.....book that too.
i really wonder where all the lakers fan hate come from, is it really because of the Rafer beatdown during the 22 game winning streak?![]()
I feel really bad for Houston, and especially T-Mac. They played so hard and they just couldn't get it done at the end. And you can't expect T-Mac to play 48 minutes - he played his heart out, but he didn't have the help he needed.
This Houston team is just too riddled with injuries to fight against the strong, physical play of the Jazz. They beat up healthy teams!
It's just so sad that it's another 1st round exit for McGrady - he really is a talented player. He's just had the misfortune to be on teams that always seem to be hit with the injury bug. Yao going out really did spell the end of their playoff hopes - regardless of the 22-game winning streak.
But darn - I HATE Utah and I was hoping for a miracle in this series!

The 22 game streak was a miracle. This team has 3 starters quality players out. Francis/Alston/Yao
Without Alston, the Rockets sputter on offense. Sad to say but as Rafer goes so do the Rockets.
Here's to a new PG next year and a healthy Yao and Francis.
Oh and by the way..

Your right about that. Jazz is going to proboully take it 4 - 0![]()
I like the rockets, i just think they need to group things together.
Because nobody wins in Utah in their house it's like game over. We'd need a true miracle to win the next two over there. My biggest consolation is watching the Hornets dismantle the Mavs and the Spurs tightly contested series with Shaq and the Suns with probably the Spurs moving up.
True that, if Rockets can't win at home, then that means there in trouble.
Yep, without Yao we are not a threat.....oh well...bring on next year.

Could have used Francis in this series. He doesn't take crap from anyone. Plus even if he's not all the way back, he still doesn't back down and that's still 6 fouls to give.
Friggin Rockets. The rest of the team laid down and died.
T-Mac was the only one that showed up.
40 pts/ 12 rebounds/ 9 assist? on 50% fg while being doubled/tripled
What game was that? Because last night he only had 23 points.....and shot 9 for 22, and only scored 1 friggen point in the entire 4th quarter.

Oops you're right. I was looking at the line stat from another game. 1 pt in the final qtr? That sucks!!
Did you even watch the game? You would have known that.
Morale is, Rockets need to regroup.
LOL I must admit I was watching half the time at a sushi restaurant and the other half trying to pay attention to this girl who was talking in my ear. Talk about a difficult assignment.
Sounds fun though
