Howard is our second best player.
He's regressed and has a bad at ude.

The chemistry around him is bad.
Actually he's a huge source of the bad chemistry.

    Fellow Mavs fans,

If anybody is planning on going to Game 3 or Game 4, I STRONGLY urge you to bring a nice "FIRE AVERY" sign and get the "FIRE AVERY!" *clap clap clapclapclap* chant going. Or better yet, just use the poster board & markers already provided at the arena, that way Cuban is paying for our civil disobedience.

I sure as will be doing it.

I dunno if I'm going to Game 3 or 4 yet, but let me know and maybe we can get some Fire Avery solidarity going at the AAC.
Its not Avery's fault the mavs traded almost half of their team including a young bright PG for 1 player

I know a lot of people here are wanting Terry gone too, but we have all see how ing awesome that guy can be. I think he really cannot stand Avery, and the way that Avery doesn't let him play more freely like he used to be allowed to has really held him back. I want Terry back. I think a new coach would help him greatly. But Howard can get the out for all I care. He has always been a bonehead and a choker. Terry has more often than not came through for us in the clutch.

Get rid of Avery, Josh, Stack, and Terry. Get fitting pieces around Dirk & Kidd. And go for it one last time.

If it doesn't work next year, then blow this ing thing sky high.

We're just criticizing our team for an appalling embarrassment. We've earned the right to do that. This isn't about jumping off a bandwagon. I care about this team, probably way more than I should as it relates to what's important. I've spent a ton of money on tickets, apparel, etc. I want this team to succeed.

I've been through Roy Tarpley and Quinn Buckner, and this is just another painful chapter. I don't know if you're talking about me or not, but I'll say this: I can handle almost any insult towards my team, but I won't stand for being called a bandwagoner.

Why not start a Dirk Novitski is a pussy chant? I mean, Avery took you all the way to the Finals. A coach can only do so much.

Dirk took Avery to the Finals. You got it backwards. Of course, Avery agrees with you, which is his biggest problem.

I said this in pm to a kind Spurs fan consoling me on the Mavs curbstomping tonight, but it basically sums up how I feel:

"I'm not even really that mad. Hopefully this is bottoming out and Cuban starts making changes. I hope this is rock bottom anyway. I would rather root for a hustling, overachieving team like Philly than a really talented team that still manages to be a laughingstock.

That's probably what is most frustrating of all: Being a laughingstock. When we had Finley and Nash, there was no way we were going to beat the Spurs or the Lakers in the playoffs, and those teams played with a lot of heart and passion and you could be proud of them win or lose. I don't like our coach and it looks like our players don't either. You're right in that they don't seem to care. Losing is one thing, completely folding and not competing is another.

One thing I will say is that Dirk deserves better and I hope they get rid of some of the cancers and surround him with high-character guys that are professional. That's one thing I admire about the Spurs: they may have their ups and downs during the regular season, and they even mail in a few regular-season games, but they're always ready for the money season and they simply DO NOT GO DOWN without a fight. The way they battled back and took care of Phoenix in the second half reminded me of how we used to play. Guys going for loose balls, hustling, just basically taking pride in what they're doing. If you're going to beat the Spurs, you're going to have to take their best shot. Right now you can't say that about the Mavs.

I'd love more than anything to cheer for a le team, but first things first, I want to root for a team that competes and is professional, and isn't a joke. Dallas may not be as bad as the Grizzlies or the Kings, but they're a joke."

I agree with you there. Up 2-0 in the Finals. I don't know what to say bro. Doesn't look like you're getting out of the first round either this year. Might have been an easier match up against the Lakers.

In some ways, I kinda wish we never went to the Finals. It's tougher when you come as close as you possibly can and don't get it done. Probably what Al Gore feels like.

I thought you guys wanted the Mavs to win at home - starting "fire Avery" chants sure isn't going to help your team!
    I agree.

It is probably better to wait for game 4 when the Mavs are down 0 - 3. =p

Avery is an overrated coach for sure, but it was the front office that sold the team's soul for Kidd. If you get rid of AJ, who would you want that's available? I can't see another coach do a better job than he is, even if he isn't great.

Bad trade comes back to haunt Dallas Mavs

    News at 11

I won't lie. It makes me happy when the Mavs stink it up, but I honestly don't even care much because the Mavs are so damn mediocre right now.
