Just curious as to how people here would feel having D'Antoni around again if he is free. Personally I feel he would be welcome as a scout or coordinator.
Sure... he can be the junior assistant mopper for the mezzanine level restroom glory holes at the AT&T Center
Dantoni would be and has been a great assistant coach. Some of you might laugh at that but I loved him when he was on Frank Johnsons staff. Although Frank Johnson could make anyone look like a genius, I really do think Dantoni is better suited for that role.

Let's not get full of ourselves and assume he's going to get fired or that someone else wouldn't give him a shot, or that he'd want to take a scout role. I've always said he's fairly clueless, but in reality most of the Coaches in the league aren't that bright either.
The AT&T center is always looking for popcorn vendors.
I dont really like burnt popcorn, I just dont think it would work out.
I like to have him to throw out some new offense schemes. Leave the D to Pop.
I'd love to have him as an assistant coach. He'd definitely help boost the offense. It would be Pop, Bud, Don, then D'Antoni though.
Come on guys, GO GO GO
lets go, lets go...run, run, run guys. Don't get tired! Lets go, lets go!!
Oh, PLEASE. I'd rather have Avery than D'Antoni, and I loathe Avery.
And this guy got Coach of the Year?
I'm sure another towel boy wouldn't hurt.
Dude!!!----whatcha smokin' mon????
I would think he will be the first one Pop calls, if he has an opening for a "Whiny ".
Or maybe if the Spurs are having trouble getting their opponents motivated, Pop can hire D'Antoni to come say stupid .
Or maybe D'Antoni can come show Pop how to make the right adjustments, if the league ever outlaws playing defense.
Other than that, I'm pretty sure he won't be making any stops here. I just don't think Pop would have any patience with a guy who whines and makes excuses.
He can be Tony Parker's personal secretary.![]()
I'd say he could be a junior assistant video coordinator in SA.
This is the NBA. If he gets fired he land somewhere eventually. Look at Skiles.
He's a bad fit at ude wise. Pop will NOT allow someone to comfort the players and tell them everything is alright and those big bad refs or big bad <insert team> just TOOK that game away. He allows his players to be victims and that's a disease we need no part of.
Uh...NO...
