I think they could go with Chris Long, but should be between Dorsey and Long.
Lets get this thing started.
Dolphins are technically on the clock, but its really the Rams who are on the clock.
Does ram management actually NOT screw up and get dorsey?
We shall see.
I think they could go with Chris Long, but should be between Dorsey and Long.
My top picks
1. Dolphins - Jake Long
2. Rams - Chris Long
3. Falcons - Matt Ryan
4. Raiders - Darren Mcfadden
5. Cheifs - Vernon Gohlston
barring no trades occur, but thats what I think it should look like.
This is the draft so anything could happen.
I wouldn't normally trade out of the top five but Atlanta has so many needs. They might as well make a move for at least 2 or 3 other picks.
Draft day is approaching the excitement and attention normally seen on opening day.
I don't think STL can go wrong with Dorsey or Long. I like Long a little better but Dorsey is still a stud.
I would agree and the more mock drafts I see this morning, the more I see this too.
ESPN is reporting that STL is going to pick Long.
They had the GM on and he wouldn't say who, then Michael Smith just came on and said it will be Long.
I agree with this right here... Even though I think the Raiders really dont need a RB, but knowing there crazy ass owner, they will pick one.
KC is definitely not taking Gholston.
They'll be trading down more than likely, but no way do I envision them taking Gholston. They'd be more than likely to reach for Clady (or even Albert) at the 5 spot ... or take Dorsey assuming he falls even if it isn't a huge position of need.

I really HATE this 3:00 Eastern start time for the draft.
At this rate, we'll know the who the first 10 picks will be before the draft even begins. It kills the drama of the event.
Clearly the ans should trade up for Matt Ryan. Their current QB is probably the worst in the history of the league. If they can't get Ryan, look for the ans to upgrade at the QB position by signing Ryan Leaf out of retirement.
I believe that when the draft is over, the Pittsburgh Steelers will emerge with the best overall selections.
I wonder if anyone gets traded today... Chad, Shockey or Boldin.... I Would be more than happy trading our 1st and 3rd for Boldin
there's a rumor ....
that the Saints (10) might trade up w/ the Chiefs (5) so they could take Ellis ... but now that Dorsey is available, I think it's even more likely to happen. The deal was to swap picks and the Chiefs would get Pro Bowl OT Jamal Brown and an additional pick (I've heard it's a 3rd ... but doubt it would be that high). As a KC fan I'd love it as we'd get our starting tackle and grab an extra pick...giving us a total of 14.
Cowboys reportedly offering #28 and their 2nd rounder for Roy Williams. Leos want both firsts.
I don't think Cowboys will give up both 1st.
Shockey is about the only one I could see being traded today.
Bengals already have 1.5 mil into Chad this year, and it's 8 Mill against the cap.
Not going to happen.
Boldin not going anywhere, he's playing the same card as Fitzgerald did to secure more $ down the road
Saints love Dorsey and he would be a good fit. Althought losing Brown would hurt, but he's been on the block for a bit now.
I think this would be big for KC. Althought with Losing Allen, they need a pass rusher, and Gholston would be a better fit than Dorsey. Make sense for them to trade down if they don't want Vernon
Of Course, Detroit could take Limas Sweed....
What to do this weekend:
stay home and watch the Draft, go to the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors downtown at the convention center, or to the AdultCon in the same building?
Decisions, decisions, decisions......
I don't see how anyone could sit there and watch the whole draft. I just check in on the updates every other hour. it's some boring .
Isn't it a given that the Lions will use their 1st rounder on a WR?
