    Hey Fillmoe,
what happened to your boy from Miami, Calais Campbell?
He was a projected first rounder.
He have injury concerns or personal issues that made him slip out of the first round?

Edit: N/M. He went to the Cardinals at #50.
    See Darren McFadden.

Cowboys still lack a consistent #2 guy. That's their big weakness that could bite them in the ass next year. That was a need outside of a rb/db and it wasnt filled.

Cowboys get TE Martellus Bennett from Texas A&M.

Packers took Brian Brohm at #56.
Does that mean they're already giving up on Aaron Rodgers?

Jerod Mayo at #10? He could be a great LB but dammit they reached on that one. Awful job by the Pats. At least they didn't get him at 7.

From reports in Detroit, Lions were set to take Mayo at #15. Might have been a reach, but if that's who the Pats were targeting, they probably couldn't get him much later than that.

.....and so ends Darren McFadden's once promising career.
Being in the zone blocking scheme is the best thing a player like him could have hoped for, one cut and it's off to the races. Being that he grew up a Terrell Davis fan, I have no doubt he's familiar with this type of running.

Besides that, the Raiders were one of the leagues top rushing teams last year in their first year in the ZBS. Now with experience and a threat like McFadden, there's no reason why they shouldn't be more successful running the ball.

interesting pick from Texans. Some hate, some love it, I think I am still on the fence on this one, but we did cover a hole in the part of our game.

Chargers just gave up their 5th and 2009 2nd rounder to the Pats for Jacob Hester.

    Ouch.

Yeah some people think its a reach, but I think they had to do it go address the O-line issues since we didnt have a 2nd rounder. Just drafted Antwaun Molden CB from Eastern Kentucky. There is 2 holes we have filled, I wonder if they will go RB on pick 89 or maybe DE.

Why did KC select Jamal Charles? Insurance for LJ?

No in' kidding! I wanted him to slip to the Cardinals as their complement back to James. Instead the Cardinals select Early Doucett, the 4.6 speedster who's, at best, going to be the third receiver.

It wasn't a position of need, so why take a WR so high? They needed a RB, more DL, OL or DB depth before they needed a third receiver with their 3rd-round pick.

EDIT: I mean, why not Steve Slaten for you RB?

HAHAH my team has 5 rb's right now. Dont know wtf they are thinking. I am happy with Slaton as our 2nd 3rd round pick. I am guessing we are going to have 4 on our chart with Green, Walker, Brown, and now Slaton.

Not enough to warrent trading Boldin before or during the draft. The ups have said they are optimistic they can work on an extension.

I still don't like the use of a third for depth at a position of strength.

I'd have liked to see DE Bruce Davis, OG Jeremy Zuttah or RB Steve Slaten. Any of these picks makes more sense than Doucett, no matter if Doucett turns out to be a good player. Cardinals didn't address a single need in free agency. They can't be wasting picks that should be used on needs for potential stars at positions of strength just because they slipped.

They needed another DE. I'd have loved to see Davis in a hybrid DE position in their 3/4 defense. Kid never stops coming.

Green is probably done. I don't think Walker is really an ideal #1 or #2 back. Chris Brown is probably the main guy right now, and it's not like he's LT or LJ or something. When a team doesn't have that one outstanding back, depth is probably a good idea.

Yeah good point, the thing that pisses me off is that we had Mendenhal on our laps and we passed up, mainly for depth and more picks so im not too disapointed in our draft. We got our ol, cb, and rb. Now its prob either a LB, DE, or even another cb.

I think the braintrust has earned the benefit of the doubt after the last 2 drafts.

They've added a guard, corner, running back, and outside linebacker so far. Maybe they could find a sleeper end or a tackle in the 5th round.
