not surprising at all...it's the same old methods that wing-nuts have used to gain compliance from the media....label them all liberals, socialists, communists..repeatedly say that they are pushing a gay, liberal agenda in schools...and then force their own marginal ideology....

Vote McCain or this country is in trouble. I don't want terrorist attacks happening every couple of months.

The last terrorist happened under the watch of a Republican. And it's probable that it may have been entirely preventable if the administration gave a crap.

This points out a rather interesting bit that came up at the Hays County democratic convention.

Liberals are increasingly pulling their kids out of school in order to home school them, just as some conservatives have been.

I think the kid in the story is doing just fine thinking for himself, and would be proud of him, were he my kid. My two boys will hopefully reach a similar level of solid critical thinking skills by the time they hit high-school too.

Right-wing organization paying kids for denying global warming.

The right-wing organization WorldNetDaily (WND) is rewarding children for “debunking” global warming in a new video/essay contest. “The contest was launched early in 2008 and was designed to highlight the absurdities, untruths and downright lies that children are being taught daily about ‘climate change’ in public school,” the site states. “Contest winners will receive a cash prize, a copy of ‘The Great Global Warming Swindle’ DVD courtesy of junkscience.com, and copies of ‘The Sky’s Not Falling‘ for their local school library and their kids’ science classroom.”

Watch one of the submissions at link~

“Kids across America are being victimized by global warming hysteria,” according to Holly Fretwell, author of The Sky’s Not Falling: Why It’s OK to Chill About Global Warming.
