Intentional fouls have their place and time, but Pop may be falling in love with it, which is not good. Snaq definitely missed enough of them to make it worth it, but don't overdo it man.
It worked in completely humiliating the Suns in game 3. I think it's brilliant.

Manu obviously looks injured. I'd say since he's not doing a thing out there that we just sit him out the rest of the night.

I don't buy Barkley's argument that Diaw's aggression takes away from Steve Nash's aggression.

No, you keep him in there because even if he is not doing anything, his presence requires attention which opens things up for others.

I would agree....the Spurs don't have an answer so far for Diaw in the post...if it works, you keep doing it.

I know what you mean, I don't think Pop should be using it as much but you have to understand that he's trying to keep Phoenix from gaining momentum. If they score 1 out of 2 every time, that's better than 2 or 3 everytime down. Even if they hit both, at least they aren't gaining momentum. That's how Phoenix beats teams-they get the momentum.
If Phoenix were still a run-n-gun team I'd agree with you, but they are not, they have become a half-court team as our dominance of the fastbreak points has shown.

Trust in the D. Hack-a-Shaq has worked today, sure, but do you continue it in the 2nd half with a lead? When do you stop it? After Shaq has hit 4 in a row? 6?

    TRUST
    IN
    THE
    D.

That's how we won 4 trophies.

Anyway, I won't mention it again unless it comes back to bite us in the arse.

I'm honestly very worried about Ginobili. If he doesn't get healthy and quick, even if the Spurs get past the Suns, they're going to have a very hard time in the next round with a 50-70% healthy Ginobili.

And what's up with the sleave on Parker's leg? He has a contusion or something?

I think it's more Bowen and the Spurs team defense on him.

True. I both laughed and frowned at Pop's answer in Game 4. "Will Shaq making his free throws stop you from using the strategy?" Pop: "Probably not." I'm not fond of the strategy but I'm not disgusted with it either. It's worked so far so how can I complain?

Hornets are a tough team. I picked them in 6, too.

And the Pistons have awoken. That one might go 7.

    I can't believe those guys were saying "that's a 3"... so you throw an alley-oop pass from behind 3 and it's a 3???

    Talk about brain explosion!
