The Suns Are Ringless
The Spurs Are Pussies
The Suns Are Ringless
dudes been in the league for 30 years... maybe he should have learned how to ing make free throws
Shaq said it wouldn't work, and Pop just wanted to make sure... repeatedly.
It's a gutless tactic but all the SUNS had to do was get stops on the other end to beat it and we all know that usually turns out.
Fixed.
The Suns and (most of their) fans don't deserve an honorable beating. I hope it's bitter. I hope it's really bitter.

lol i dont think i said that.
hey i like the hawks.
The Hawks are shooting .781 from the line in the playoffs.
The Suns re s would not be saying this if Tim Duncan was such a bad free throw shoot that the Suns fouled him on purpose.
Shaq has been on this earth 36 years and has plenty of time to PRACTICE free throws.
The Suns just have to blame someone else for their failures. Look in the mirror for once.
all i can say 2008 NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers
If D'Antoni would be half a decent coach, he would have done the same every time Bowen stepped on the court. Then again, he 'had no answers'...
I don't like hack-a-Shaq, but since it's well within the rules, if you're going to do it, do it. Don't wait until the fourth quarter. If it's an advantage, use it as much as you can to take advantage of that advantage. That's the genius of Gregg Popovich. Sure, he was micro-managing the game. And, yes it was somewhat painful to watch. And, to a point, it was even embarrassing. But, he knew what the Suns were capable of on offense. That shows respect for the Suns offense, respect towards Shaq as an impact player, and wise strategy to ensure a win even when the Suns make a run later in the game. I really don't like hack-a-Shaq. But, if you're going to use it, take full advantage. Pop shows once again why he's one of the best coaches in the game. There was no shame on his part. He stayed with the gameplan even when Shaq made free throws. And, each time he used it, it helped put his team in better position to win.
lol; make a flippin' freethrow, lard ass. You know, if he really cared as much as Bruce did in 2003 when they did it to him, he'd hit the gym and make himself better, not hit the waffle house again.
Shaq single handedly lost the game by going 9-20 from the stripe.
It won't work if Shaq would actually take his profession seriously and LEARN how to shoot them.
Use the old Rick Barry method.....if Yao can shoot 85%, Shaq can learn to shoot them.
Too bad he is not willing to put in the effort.
DD
Exactly! He has too much ego to even give it a try. If he was a real team player he'd be shooting granny-shots.
