How do you figure thats a better time? Most people are out and doing things on a Saturday afternoon.
It's confirmed on Spurs.com that the start time is Saturday at 9PM, but yet the dates for the rest of the games are TBA.

Dude thats awesome! I have a final on Sat at 10:30 in the morn. (Yes I'm serious on a Sat). I will probably stay up the whole night Friday studying and now I can sleep before the game. Don't you just love it when things work out like that for ya?

Fantastic. I am going toHouston Sat afternoon and will not be back til 10 pm, I was worried that I would miss the game...now i can watch it delayed and speed through the commercials to catch up.

Hmm, nice, 9 PM ET, that should be Sunday 9 AM Borneo's time, if the game is aired by local TV, i might be able to catch it on site without having to go on a 3 hrs one way trip to Balikpapan, East Kalimantan major city where satellite broadcasting is available.
