Is just me I get the feeling Doc Rivers is going to screw up what should be a trip to the Finals? Well at least Boston fans will get to celebrate winning the series at home.

these refs. 20 more free throws? Boston is getting the Dallas treatment surprisingly.
Yeah poor Dallas, they only got 30+ free throws in 3 of the 5 games they played in the first round

I fully expect the Celtics to finish this off at home
I don't know. All the pressure is on the Celtics. They were expected to run away with this series and dispatch Atlanta in 5 games or less. No one expected the Hawks to do this to the big, mighty Celtics.

I dare say it. This series is Atlanta's to lose.

You forgot the isolations for Wally Sczerbiack.

Wally I am sure they would live with him taking shots away from James.

Wasnt this series supposed to be the sure sweep?
Should be... on paper. Hawks wouldn't let it, though. Props to them.

I like the way you think, and I'm hoping like you're right!

What a glorious spectacle it would be!

BTW, wasn't Pierce limping a little after that play where he fouled out?
He's the real MVP of the Celts IMO.

Damn I don't think Boston gets by the Cavs now.
    This is stunning.

    It is staggering.

It is just so hard to believe.

    How does this happen?

I think the Microwave is right. If Boston can't do better than this against the Hawks, then they are in some serious trouble.

And Timvp right on too, Cavs just have to find a way to get one game in Boston.

And LeBron can just dominate on one night in Beantown like he did to Detroit, and Boston is done.

BTW, any team can win one game.
Hawks know that if they have the higher number after 48 minutes, they win the series.

They can taste it. Boston has given them belief.

The Hawks have lost @ Boston by 57 combined points and they have beaten them by 17 combined points in Atlanta. I give them credit for hanging tough but is not like the Celtics have been blownout in the road games. I think what you saw tonight was a little bit of Rondo's inexperience in the playoffs. There was no need for him to take that shot with Cassell open.

Hawks are a 50 win team if they started the season over again. Bibby has made the difference.

KG hits them, he just doesn't take alot of them. Personally, i think if your balls shrivel you just miss them.
if he hits them, he should demand the ball more. Doesn't he have a reputation for hiding?

It is almost certain that the Celtics will win this series. But its just one game, it is no longer a series, just one game and this Hawks team has all the momentum and the believe that they can win. Odds say game seven ends with a win by the Celtics with a blowout but if Im a player on the Hawks team I feel really good about my chances right now.

The Celtics have the advantage of the KG matchup. They need to post him and Pierce more to settle thier offense. Thats the best way to slow down running teams. San Antonio with Duncan will throw the ball in the post against the Suns for example. The Hawks will either be forced to double or foul. Either way you force them to inbounds the ball instead of leaking out in the fastbreak.

They would have momentum if Game 7 were in Atlanta feeding off thier crowd. You saw from Game 4 to Game 5 how the games turned out.

He probably should but he doesn't. There's a HUGE difference between not being able to and not choosing to. Wally Z loved taking shots like that but clanked them all.

He came right out and knocked down that J after Pierce fouled out and the place was going ape . If you want to pin this loss on him, do so in terms of his lazy rebounding and interior roaming defense. That wasn't the KG i knew.

That's all fine in theory but all there guys are leapers with terriffic off-ball shotblocking abilities. It looks bad for them but i could very well see them doing better against the other teams in the playoffs.

I expect Mike Bibby to play out of his mind Sunday. He remembers how his last Game 7 turned out six years ago.

I remember when Flip ran those. And it always seemed that Wally was going up against a quicker two guard when he did.

His last one was four years ago against KG and the wolves.
