The three had walked across the street to the restaurant from US Airways Center smiling and talking. They emerged from the meeting with a more serious collective manner.
Maybe there was an arguement over that tab.

So we have to take the word of a reporter and how he interprets body language and mannerisms ?

Suffice it to say .....arizona is waiting for the other shoe, or shoes, to drop.

Well, there's a video clip at that link, so you can interpret it yourself and come to just as informed of a conclusion as the media. Heh.

Honestly, it's unfair if D'Antoni gets fired for the loss in the series; Shaq wasn't even on the team for a full half of a season. The Suns could have won that series if they closed out game one, and I think that is on the players far more than the coach.

All of these teams firing their coaches before even seeing what else is available is a big mistake usually, by firing your coach you are essentially using the first year with that coach as a trial year, and for teams such as the Suns and Mavs, where your key years are right now, it's a bad time to start putting the losses on the coach as a scapegoat when maybe, just maybe, it's the players' fault.

How many times has a team excelled under a new coach? You can say Avery, but guess what, he's gone! Also why was Avery fired over losing to a second seed? It's not like the Mavericks were ever at any point better than the Hornets all season. I know it's a first round loss, but that's what happens when you get so far down in the playoffs, clearly the problems of teams aren't all on the coaching, and the coaches are more or less treated like they are responsible for the underachieving and lack of execution from their players in key moments.

D'Antoni to Chicago... if he and Paxson want, D'Antoni can take Amare with him for Deng, Noah and their 2008 1st.

Suns can easily get better value than that.

An Eastern conference lottery team doesn't turn into a team to beat overnight because of a no defense coach...
