I always wondered about that myself...

I have a feeling the Spurs will tell you it's to "put more color in the arena" since it's otherwise mostly black and silver (white)....but I'm sure it's also to help fill in whatever empty seats there may be during a broadcast.

IIRC, the players' wives made the colored seat suggestion to give kind of a confetti effect. A little weak considering you could only tell that during Rampage and Silver Stars games.

It's to give the stadium the look of confetti, you know fiesta and all that.

Oh and I was looking at Udoka, thinking it was Parker, and I was like wow Parker looks alittle off there, then as I started scanning the pic until I finally realized Tony Parker was on the left Finley. Is it just me or do they look alike or not?
